A fire broke out on the sets of Zero at the Film City in Goregaon (east) on Thursday. Actor Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) was present with other crew members when the blaze broke out. The fire, graded as level two, broke at the Reliance Media work set three at Goregaon's Film City at 4:55 pm and was doused by 8:00 pm.
The fire confined to the electric wiring, electric installation, curtains, ropes and studio articles - in area about 17,500 sq ft - at studio number seven, stage number A3.
A senior fire official said that Shah Rukh Khan was present on the sets when the fire first broke out, but he, along with 20-30 people, were moved safely to another place. Five fire engines reached the spot and doused the fire in four hours. Shah Rukh Khan's film Zero is due for release on December 21. The entire shooting of the movie was nearly over, except for a few scenes, which were shot in Goregaon.
