If this show is heading toward a Kunal Mauli reunion (which I don't know why they are, considering no one really likes them but story wise all signs are pointing towards them) then these two are starting to feel something for each other. Given MauNal's history any moment between them should be very, very uncomfortable. Like obviously uncomfortable. But lately I get more of the uncomfortable vibe from Ishaan and Mauli while Kunal and Mauli seem at ease. Even when she was literally grabbing him by the collar it seemed like she was comfortable invading that space. With Ishaan it feels like Mauli is hiding a part of herself. Also the BG music is a great indication of what the writers are trying to convey and if you notice a lot of the Ishaan and Mauli scenes have the tense music these days. Even some scenes where they could use sweet emotional music they often don't. Today when Ishaan kissed her hand and said I love you there was some ugly tense absolutely non-romantic bg music happening. Opposite is happening with Kunal and Mauli. There is a lot of the silsila music and the other music that used to be theirs. Compare Ishaali's car scene to MauNal car scene the music is so different. It's an indication of how easy their moments are. There is still tension but the tension is forced. When they forcefully remember where they stand there is tension, but when they are not paying attention they automatically slip into this natural ease. Reminiscing about a time they fought...

My biggest reason for feeling Mauli is still stuck on Kunal is how she is not stuck on Ishaan at all and the writers are not even attempting it. It could be very bad writing or I am just reading it wrong or both. Ishaan is a great friend to Mauli and he has been in love with her for 3 long years now. If these last few weeks is anything to go by then for 3 years this sweet guy has tried to make all her days special in one way or another. He has been trying to make her fall for him. Yet she never budged. She didn't see him that way and to me she still doesn't see him that way. Sure she politely takes what he gives with a smile but her smiles seem forced. Aditi is not that bad of an actress. She does her scenes with Shakti very differently. When she was talking about being sure about Ishaan there wasn't a hint of feelings there. She was stating things so plainly like you are such a great guy I would be stupid to not marry you. So why is she not falling for Ishaan? Either it's because she is so broken she no longer has the ability to love anyone or it is because she still has Kunal in her heart despite all her efforts, or a bit of both. Given her reaction to Kunal I am choosing to go with the second option. Just the way she is around him. She decided to marry Ishaan only after Kunal returned and she assumed he was happy. She was all over Ishaan during that dinner. Why? She wanted to show Kunal and herself that she can be happy without him, with someone else. The truth is the opposite of course. She keeps saying Ishaan is going to be a better father to Mishti and she wants Kunal to be far away from Mishti. Yet when she closed her eyes it was Kunal she saw in a happy moment. When you hate someone that much and don't want them around you wouldn't imagine them in a million years. Closing your eyes and seeing someone's face is always, always, always used on screen to show one's heart's secret desire. The true desire. Yesterday when Kunal was left out in the park, Mauli's eyes drifted toward him. She was sad. Why feel regret for someone who she is happy without? So for now, I think Mauli is still stuck on Kunal without knowing. Maybe she will slowly let him go now that she has the upper hand (I doubt it because bhagwan granted Pari's wish about new wife for daddy) but for now Mauli still feels for him. Also that hand touching music, the chime sounded like a magical moment. They both felt something positive.

Kunal is a different story of course. That chichora, shameless boy just said few days ago he could've definitely healed from his break up with Nandini had Mauli given him time. So I don't think he is stuck on Mauli. But I think pretty soon he is going to be obsessed with her. She has his kid and on top of that Pari loves her. She is the answer to all his prayers and add possible new romantic feelings and he is definitely going to be head over heels for her again.

bold - i highly doubt this.. but if makers have a story to tell then i wont mind watching it..

2nd paragraph + @red - maunal vs ishaali - ummm the answer is very simple. mauli doesnt love ishaan.. or may be she hasnt realised it yet or may be she is stopping herself from loving (romantic love )again..

these are just my observations.. i think she is too rigid about "pyaar dubara nhi ho skta" theory. i guess so.. imagine the male version of title song on mauli "ishq dubara bhi ho skta hai kya.. aisa socha na tha.." something like that..

mauli kunal are comfortable as they have made peace with their present.. mauli kunal are uncomfortablr as mauli couldnt make peace with her past and kunal is still guilty.. the mother in mauli would have grabbed anyone's collar but the woman in mauli is uncomfortable touching her ex..

bg music -- situations.. kunal mauli are melting and softening towards one another.. actually mauli is softening.. kunal is getting a chance to redeem himself.

ishaan is tensed as mauli hasnt ever told him that she loves him. he knows the fact and seeing mauli happy and comfortable with her ex when she hasnt yet expressed her love to him is making him insecure. she doesnt even share things, her pain.. at times she didnt use to do that with kunal too. thats her nature..

@red -- i will go with the first one. i think she thinks that she wont be able to love someone like the way she used to do kunal.. but i seriously hope she doesnt love him anymore. i hope so.. see writers can write anything to get More views.. but as of now i feel maunal isnt the end game..

@blue - probably in all these years she is recovering from her past. probably she kept remembering him for long time . she had always dreamt of a happy family with him not with somebody else.. (she probably would have seen him even if nandini werr alive) its her shattered dreams.. i can be wrong here..

@green -- she can feel for kunal naa

when the time was right he wasnt happy about things and now the time is gone and he is regretting for not meeting his kid for so long and not able to hug her, kiss her and even not able to tell mishti that he is her father.. he left the park like a thaka hara hua insaan.. and mauli can feel his PAIN..

i have replied u in another thread that why mauli cried when she heard him saying " main mishti ko hug krna chahta hu use btana chahta hu k main us se kitna pyaar karta hun" ..

she always knew that he would love his child no matter what. but since he accused her and she let him go , she had made an impression to herself and outer world that for kunal it was an unwanted child.. which mishti was that time. but mauli knew that his love for kids is immense and he will be the best father if had stayed back then..

now the time has gone and he can only regret.. (not for chosing nandini but for not chosing mishti at that time)

unres - i think kunal shouldnt try to get back with mauli as has talked big about nandini..

but then i feel nandini would have only asked him to go to mauli 😆 (i guess that the thing in CD) kunal coming back to mauli on his own will be a shame. so probably they will use nandini..

but can he really say he feel for her again?? lol.

i shouldnt be commenting on him.. his falling for mauli is a big risk for makers.. i think they will use nandini's last wish for this but i hope they dont make it easier by making mauli feel for him

@rhimjhim...you have just spoke my heart and i feel the exact same with yours in terms of ishaan-kunal-mauli dynamics...but slightly differ on one part...kunal will not be obsessed with mauli owing his character 6 yrs now...he has mature in all sense neither he will bring in mishti angle..he could have done it way before and i am sorry to say neither mauli nor ishaan can stop it...but being a paeditrician he understand child psychology and request to hide his identity to his daughter though he suspects that mishti knows abt it...he will maturely be happy for Mauhaan and silently love mauli...but yes he will be head over heels in love with her...its not for his daughter but for himself

@red: kunal has always been the intuitive one of the two so I wasn't really surprised when he thought/ suspected that Mishti might know about him and I don't really think it has got anything to do with him being a paediatrician...and now it has turned out to be true...

@bold: I do agree that Kunal will not be obsessed with Mauli. If he does fall in love, this time he would not go an disrupt Mauli's life. As far as I see, he is all OK with Mauli being with Ishaan but he really desires to be part of his daughter life. As many here, I also think he suspects that Mishti knows and that because of his nature. He is more intuitive in that sense and always has been good with kids. Also, he is a different person from what we know but a very good father. I say this because he knew that not only Mishti, but Pari would also need to adjust to the fact that she has a sister and he started talking to her on it. I also think Pari is more matured of the two other than her possessiveness of her buddy, which is understandable knowing she is lost her mother, and he is the only person for her now. I also think at this moment Kunal is not in love with Mauli and nowhere near it.

@rhimjimm: I also feel that there is nothing from Mauli side for Ishaan and she is still stuck on Kunal. The reason is her imagining Kunal in the happy moment and her looking at Kunal and understanding his sadness when he left the park. . Also, when Mishti went missing, if you are connected to a person, your first thought is to call them but Mauli runs to Kunal without even once thinking of calling Ishaan. even when they are in car, she does not think of calling him, she is Ok with looking for her daughter with Kunal. That's why I think. Ishaan is totally friend-zoned for her.

Lets see how Mauli and Kunal handle the two girls and their feelings towards each other.
