Guess who? Blind Item

This film wrapped its shoot some time ago but there has been no announcement yet on its likely release date. What makes this surprising is that, quite recently, the said film's director had another release that may not have set the box office on fire but garnered decent reviews besides doing reasonable business.

In such a scenario, one would have assumed that the studio that has acquired the film would cash in on the buzz around the previous release and announce when the director's next would hit theatres. It seems that the studio's reluctance to do so stems from its unhappiness at the first cut that has been shared with them. The studio head now wants a fresh edit and has told the director that no announcement will be forthcoming till they are completely satisfied with the content.

They say that in this business, you are only as good as your last Friday. Turns out that sometimes even a decent last release isn't enough!
