I am glad you agree with me about Bhanumati,. my dear.

I am sure she will get a good bit of footage here, as otherwise they would not have sketched her character so carefully till now. Moreover, there was a strong Karna-Bhanumati relationship, for one thing,

Though I never understood her unbelievable arrogance towards her suitors at the swayamvar. I suppose they want us to think that the shock of her abduction and her inabilty to do anything about it has sobered her, and brought her more admirable traits to the forefront.

They didn't show him arguing with his foster father before he left home in this show, but it is always shown that way in the serials on the Mahabharata that I have seen, and he does vanish for 12 long years!

Let us see how they show the Adhiratha-Karna conversation tonight. But even if Karna is not argumentative, it would only mean that he does not want his foster parents to think that his becoming Angaraaj has gone to his head.

Otherwise, this Karna is quite bien dans son peau, as the French say, ie comfortable in his identity, whether with Arjun (where the confrontational edge is sharper), Uruvi or Duryodhana. Especially the last. You can literally see him gain in self confidence in his dealings with Duryodhana, especially his pravachans!😉

In private would be a different matter, and Karna has always been shown arguing with his foster father in private, inclduing as a teenager when he quits home to go and look for a guru. He defies his father then.
