For some time now, speculations have been rife that the Drashti Dhami-Shakti Arora-Aditi Sharma starrer Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka is winding up. So far, reports suggested that the show will end sometime in December. However, Shakti had rubbished that news and told TOI, "Not at all. Our show is doing very well and in fact, one of the episodes that aired last week registered the highest ratings. So, it's not true and I haven't heard anything about it. Infact, I am happy I got to play such an interesting role of a man who is torn between the two women and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Now, SpotboyE.com has it that the show will, in fact, bid adieu in the last week of November. A top source from the TV industry has told SpotboyE.com, "Yes, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka is winding up. The cast and crew are working towards a closure and it will go off-air by November end." SpotboyE.com also has it that the upcoming show Tantra will take Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka's place. The promos of Tantra are already out.

Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka is a love triangle involving an extra- marital affair. The show, which has popular faces like Drashti Dhami, Aditi Sharma, Shakti Arora and Abhinav Shukla as the main cast, has faced a lot of backlash over its concept since the past few months. There has also been a certain demand to shut it down.

Drashti's (Nandini) lovemaking scene with her best friend Mauli's (Aditi) husband Kunal (Shakti) agitated many fans no end. The duo was slammed for cheating on an innocent Mauli, so much so that Aditi posted her explanation on Twitter in an attempt to calm them down.

Anyway, now that Colors (broadcaster) has finally decided to pull the plug, an official announcement in this regard might soon be in the offing.
