RAJKUMMAR RAO IN TALKS TO TOPLINE KARAN JOHAR'S DOSTANA 2
Speculations are rife in Bollywood that Rajkummar Rao, who is basking in the massive success of his recent film Stree (2018), has been offered Karan Johar's much-anticipated movie Dostana 2.
As the title suggests itself, Dostana 2 is a sequel to the 2008 blockbuster film Dostana, which starred Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in principal roles. The project was helmed by Tarun Mansukhani.
Talks about Dostana 2 have been around for many years now, but nothing was finalized until recently when, reportedly, Karan Johar greenlighted the script for the second instalment.
Though the makers of the film have not confirmed anything as far as the casting is concerned, if Rajkummar Rao is indeed a part of the project, fans are really going to rejoice.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is shooting for his next, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Asia Laga, co-starring Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla. The film is scheduled to roll into cinemas on 1st February, 2019.
