Amrita Prakash who was last seen in Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hain called it quits as she was not too happy with her role. The pretty actress has shifted her focus to films by signing for two films; one for Rajshri Productions named Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi and another for Sanjay Khandelwal called World Of Fashion. Amrita will be playing Isha Koppikar's younger sister in the Rajshri project. She has been associated with the Rajshri before as she also worked in the Shahid Kapoor-Amrita Rao starrer Vivaah. "I could not deny the offer. The Barjatyas are such nice people and I have known them for long. I know I can always trust them with good quality work." World of Fashion includes a lot of newcomers and Amrita plays an aspiring designer from a small town in the film. Seems the young lass has no time to make small screen appearances.

Yes, her role was definitely not going anywhere... but it wud have been better if they had just replaced the actress and continued her role, since the show was supposed to be based on the stories of Prathna, Siddhi and Sanskriti. They didnt even explain what happened to her. 😕
