There was a show in my regional language few years back with similar concept but executed in much better way. Two childhood friends separated by a mu due to one person creep fianc, years later one becomes a successful popular journalist. She has a love marriage. Her husband is a senior government official very much in love with his wife. They have a cute daughter they lead a happy married life. While the other friend has a troubled married life her husband is a wominazer, beats his wife and the lady regrets for not choosing her friend over her love. Once when the wife refuses to share bed with her husbands business partner the husband brutally rapes and attempt to murder her. But her friend being a journalist saves the lady and the long lost friend unites. The journalist exposes her friends husband in front of media and sents him to jail. Then she brings her friend home. Her husband too supports his wife and helps the friend. But eventually he starts getting attracted to his wife's friend and the friend too falls for him. Once at the heat of moment they engage in physical intimacy. After the incident the guy is extremely guilty for cheating his lovely wife and friend too feels guilty for cheating her bestie. The friend lady moves out to another home. Though both are guilt they couldn't erase what had happened so after a period of time they continues the relationship hiding the wife. But eventually the wife catches them red handed. The guy is in a dilemma he doesn't have any justification as his wife is really amazing and he has no complaints but cants leave the other lady as she became pregnant with his kid. The wife calls both of there families and she clearly states that she can't be with a man who cheats her. She clearly explains once a cheater always a cheater and once trust is broken in married life it can't be repaired. Though there family wants them together the wife clears says she can't be with her cheater husband and demands a divorce and there daughters custody. The husband had to give divorce and custody of there kid to his wife as he was at fault. Eventually he marries the other lady and they have a son. Years later the couple is shown as extremely unhappy as the guy realised that what they had was only attraction he genuinely loved his first wife and was contented with her and there daughter. But he can't go back as his first wife never accepted him after his betrayal. The new wife is also unhappy though she had married her love her husband has fallen out in love with her. She has lost her love and friendship. The couple don't even share a bedroom. Neither they spend time together with there son.
