You have raised some very important aspects that I guess I did not stress enough from the aspect of the show. I will quote your statements and reply to those.

Sameer fell in love with Naina, not because she was beautiful or rich, but because she mesmerised him with an inner beauty and selfless love that he never knew existed...the zeal with which she cared for him, prompted him to protect her no matter what...even before he realised what his heart longed for!
So, very apt point.From the beginning, the writers are hammering the notion repeatedly that Naina is not beautiful physically nor she is among the rich circles of the society.
So, what made Sameer fall for her? It was sheer power of Naina's inner beauty and selfless love to the core. A girl who took all the risk to express her love. Even going to the extent of letting him stay in her room overnight and even trying to burn her hand to feel his pain. These are the things that made Sameer fall hard for her.
And Sameer's love for Naina, made her the most beautiful girl for him. The key is Naina's inner beauty and selfless love for Sameer. Writers went to lengths to build that aspect of Naina however at the same time they kept on stressing on her plain looks whenever writers felt like.
Hence we as viewers connected with that Naina who was strong, self less, loved her family and also made a loveless arrogant boy fall and feel in love.
he did a horrible mistake...no less than a crime. A crime, which could hardly be forgiven easily, but I give it to the CVs for making me awed with which the character of Sameer was redeemed and refined! Wow! I felt more inclined to Sameer over Naina, considering it was Naina I had related to since the beginning! Sameer made sure Naina realized he was repentent, reformed, cared for her and loved her honestly, truly!
Sameer did a horrible mistake or a sin breaking the heart of such an innocent and selfless girl. And he went through a long series of redemption to redeem himself.
Without that redemption it would have been very difficult for the viewers to see Naina accepting Sameer back in her life.
Munna's concerns are on point.
1. Naina has till now NOT admitted that Arjun stole the papers. She should have done that to Sameer at least long back, considering he was her future life partner- someone she trusts, loves and respects. Or so it seemed.
2. The psychology POV actually makes sense to me. Naina is actually submissive in front of her family or Sharad, but with Sameer, she pounces on each opportunity to dominate. She dictates the terms of relationships- if and when they should go out, where they should go out, if they should meet or talk on phone or not. She decides to break up or make up and takes it like a light-hearted fight.
This is where the writers are going wrong. They are not giving dialogues to the character of Naina to connect with what the writers are making her do on the. As far as the character of Naina goes, the writers are in a hurry to close the loop without giving any sort of proper dialogues to close the track.
For example, in the Bet Revelation to Puja marriage track, ample amount of dialogues and efforts were shown by the character of Sameer to deserve the love of Naina. Bet Revelation and Sameer's redemption was one of the most important tracks and it was dealt properly.
After that, the current Naina deciding to leave Sameer is the most important track that also required proper before ending before jumping in to another track. And yet again, the writers are miser in showing Naina retrospective of her unilateral actions and its consequences for Sameer.
On top that the writers though its apt to show Naina shouting at Munna for being Jealous of her as she is close to Sameer. (Please note, a wife or GF accusing and getting angry on her partner's friend for being too nosy at other times might be ok).
But here thats is not the scenario. Due to Naina's ME and My Family Pride First decision, Sameer was on the verge of renouncing all and making an utter fool of himself. And in this hard time Munna was all through with Sameer supporting him otherwise in real life cases boys can equally harm themselves. Hence, this was not the time for Naina character to accuse Munna and then try the jump stunt. Why are the writers just confusing every one regarding the portrayal of Naina?
And that was the basis of this post.
I was expecting negative reactions but some went over board and personal. What many fail to understand is my disappointment on how the writers are treating the character of Naina compared to how they portrayed her in the initial days.
