Very well made points Doc.
Regarding the three things that you have pointed out Priority, Change in priority when situations demand & Sensitivity to ones actions.,I think Naina fails miserably in all of them.She might score 100% in Accountancy and Commerce,but when it comes to giving priority to Sameer,she is dismal.Her priorities change faster than the English weather.The only constant in her life is her oh so precious family.She cares two hoots about the effect of her actions on Sameer.
Please note she cares tremendously for the effect of her actions on Chachaji.So she is not an insensitive person by nature.She seems specifically insensitive towards Sameer.In other words,Sameer is completely and totally taken for granted.
You are right when you say that after all these goings on ,in real life a boy like Sameer will be taken for granted completely by the girl's family.But wait,why go as far as real life?Isn't Sameer being taken completely for granted by Naina in our serial too?Sameer bears her family's insults and slaps and toils like a servant in her sister's wedding.For the bet issue,Sameer bends over backwards and apologizes till he can apologize no more. Finally Queen Naina relents and falls in love(Was it love at all?) .She walks in and out of his life as if she is playing musical chairs with him.She finally threatens him with suicide if he doesn't accept her.I am flabbergasted..I have no words for Naina's actions...
I really wish Sameer hadn't brought Munna into the picture.I really wish he had told her that HE WAS LIVING IN PERPETUAL FEAR THAT HE WOULD BE DUMPED BY NAINA. The story has gone to the dogs and Naina's character is beyond redemption now.I think I like Sunaina better than Naina anyday.

Sameer,be careful.Naina might ditch you tomorrow if Taiji doesn't like the smell of your perfume or Rakesh doesn't like the colour of your shirt. Or maybe she will dump you because Chachaji thinks the size of your nose is half a millimetre too long...It is a real possibility considering the way Naina is going...Perfumes and shirts can be changed,but can you cut your nose by half a mm so that Chachaji will like you?Think and decide before you take the plunge(literally) with Naina.
