I agree.she is not guilty and her justification of all she does is always right.she is having no self respect in front of her family but had shown loads before Sameer.anyways she needs to be guilty or else she will always take Sameer's emotions as granted and Sameer always have to bend even if she is wrong .
Hi,
You are absolutely right.
After today's episode, I am finding serious writing flaws in Naina character. She is behaving as though all is cool and now lets be friends.
(Well they can be)
But come on, Sameer is being now projected as some one who has NO SELF RESPECT.
I mean, Naina ditched him without any warning, hint or reason that implicates him!
Now, Naina is impressed by Sameer's Chivellary and wants them to be friends again!
What for? So, that she can have a friend in Sam who she can call and use in the time of need.
I am sorry for using such words, but the way Naina is being presented, she seems devoid of any regret and effect. She is still the epitome of truth in her mind. She still will do anything her family says (right or wrong, does not matter), hurt some body and then expect them to be friends recalling each other after 40 years.
I am all for love but I am also all for self respect. Any relation where the boy or girl keeps taking unilateral decision and keeps expecting the other one to adjust to all their decisions and also be friends with them - is utter selfish in nature.
And Naina is precisely doing that.
Sameer should say to Naina that - "What I did, I would have done it for any girl. Yes! I can never think bad of you. But for a moment do no assume that I do not realize that how selfish you were at playing with my emotions and then deciding whats good for me and betraying me. Well, you are right it's better!. You actually did good by betraying me now! Its better than being betrayed and used after marriage!"
That would be an apt and realistic answer!
That would restore the self-respect of Sameer and would make the track a bit realistic.
To complete this track effectively, other than some silly friendship angle, it needs to be shown that Naina is genuinely sorry for her selfish unilateral attitude and is ready to make the efforts to genuinely mend the bridges she has destroyed. She needs to learn that the world does not revolve around the whims of her family and she cannot take Sameer's emotion (or anybody else's emotion) for granted and plaything when it comes to her family. She needs to learn that she is not always right and cannot justify all her wrong doings!
