Today, Shivaay finally managed to get the forgiveness he so desperately desired...but the way he went about it would melt the most hardened of hearts...yeh toh phir bhi Anika hai who, even if she is clueless about her feelings for Shivaay, was so moved by his desperation for penance and forgiveness that she couldn't help but give in.
In the opening rain scene, I really liked NM's voice modulation when Anika angrily says I forgive you, now leave..."Dil se nahin kiya hai"...just a simple line but so earnestly delivered enough to convey a sense of child like zidd in Shivaay too...and then there was just something so disarming about the fact that when she jodoes haath in front of him to just leave, he silently turns and walks away to his car...his intention definitely isn't to upset her...so he backs off for that moment...but he can't help but come back again.
In the morning, confused Anika who herself sent him away is now looking for him outside the window...lol feeling a strange sense of bereftment when she doesn't find him there...but her majnu was actually sitting at her doorstep, shivering and all crumpled up in a pitiful state😆
And then came the ultimate blow for an already fragile hearted Anika...Shivaay faints, and she learns that he has a heart condition...watching him passed out and Om trying to give him medicines..you'd wonder who was in pain...Shivaay or Anika...her heart was in her eyes again
The scene actually picks up once Shivaay wakes up and now he's literally like a ziddi baccha insisting that he doesn't care about anything, not even his life if he can't get Anika's forgiveness...it's hard to describe how strangely endearing his antics were here...NM managed to give another cute flavor to Shivaay😆
Poor Anika...how exactly was she supposed to hold out in the face of those gumdrop eyes looking at her implacably ki I'm not budging😆..."Main maafi kamaa raha hoon"😆...and Anika can just watch haplessly as she sees the extent of his resolve..."Koi farak nahin padta...maafi se farak padta hai"...
Matlab look at this badmaash baccha...yeh kya expression tha😆...ki aisa hi hoon main...deal with it...lol
Finally Anika also bursts out ki she's had enough of his tamasha and he needs to STOP this now...lol she'll give him the maafi he so badly wants...DIL se maafi de di...Gauri ki bhi kasam khaa li...pleads with him to not do all this to himself...to just finish all this here and forget all that happened
And Shivaay ziddi but clever baccha is like cool ab toh maan gayi...ab ghar chalo😆...as if it's the most natural order of progression, no issues at all😆...but Anika lagaaoes break to his plans again...and this is when her roothi hui biwi mode really gets activated...ki kyun jaaun main? and we also get the return of "Biwi" bolne pe atakne wala Shivaay😆..."Ghar kaise nahin jaaogi jab tum meri..."
"Nahin hoon..."? Anika leaves a question mark at the end of that sentence briefly...and Shivaay isn't able to complete it...so she herself says nahin hoon main aapki patni...aapne hi bola...lol Shivaay's face when he is reminded of his own dumb words now being used against him as logic by Anika😆😆
His face when she reminds him ki he only doesn't maano this shaadi and shaayad sahi bhi hai...bura phasaa Billu😆
Rishte dil se bante hain, zabardasti se nahin...wonder where all these mahaan thoughts were when she was busy stringing together a MS put on her zabardasti se...khair chhodo😆...isne kabhi maanna toh hai nahin that she herself cares for Shivaay despite everything
Perhaps she now thinks he's pitying her😆...which shows that she is just as equally dumb as him then😆
Shivaay shifts his focus to then worrying about how she'll live here all by herself...Anika gets a chance to plug her redux waali "khuddari" again and how she fights all mushkilein alone😆 and insists that he doesn't need to do her fikar
Please to be noting that while telling HIM to not worry about her, this Anika is still busy patting his chest😆
Shivaay insists ki mujhe tumhaari fikar hai...fikar hai...toh Anika gets another chance to ask WHY...kya lagti hoon main aapki?😆
Billu does some quick mental calculations and comes up with the quickest way to get a ticket to be allowed to fikar for Anika...through FRIENDSHIP😆...and so begins a new phase..."Mujhse dosti karogi"?...
Dosti toh khair bahut pairs karte hain but in dono ne jaise ghumaa phiraa ke aaj ki was really cute...Shivaay barely hiding the fact that the only reason he wants to be friends is to feel a connection with her cuz shaadi issue is complicated for now😆...I found it really endearing how he tried to officially introduce himself as "Main Shivaay Singh Oberoi" to her too😆
Then comes the other most hilarious bit...Anika insisting that all she can allow is SIRF dosti😆...as if she needs to keep him at a distance lest he expect more than that from her😆
Shivaay was super happy itne mein hi...but as the others jumped in to tease him ki SIRF dost ho...he goes, "DOST toh hain..."...and I just found that super endearing and indicative of how badly he needs a connection to Anika...even if it's just friendship...he placed emphasis on DOST rather than SIRF like Anika was😆
The way she's smiling at him like it's an inside joke...it's like they both know the SIRF dosti ain't gonna hold but chalo abhi ke liye ka lo😆
And yeh so called "sirf dost" ke liye ITNI fikar kyun hai Anika ke muh pe😆
Shivaay is now back to doing what he does best...fussing over Anika incessantly😆
These two were in their own world for that whole scene...the others might as well not even have been around them...lol and that is what made it a really good scene
Newly minted "dost" Billu going into overdrive trying to pamper an Anika who has cold...lol and then sneaking around her house like the Billlu he is trying to see if she had the soup he sent for her
Yeh waali Anika bhi chhupi rustam hai...ek muh se "Bechara Shivaay" and dusre muh se instantly buraayi bhi karni hai ki kitna KADVA hai toh soup bhi kadva hoga😆...and Shivaay eavesdropping outside first getting happy over her sympathy and then getting his CHOP done over her dissing him...LOLL...chalo he managed to get a jab in about her terrible DHOSAS too😆
Shivaay's convo with OmPri about Anika's b'day and whether he should wish her over the phone or in person was hilarious...chalo finally shipper mode mein thodi bearable hai Prinku😆...and confused Billu being warned to CONTROL by Om but yeh majnu toh gone case ho gaya hai...this is his "not so badaa" gift for Anika😆
And finally the beginning of the mandir scene was quite sweet today...life comes full circle for them in the mandir...they managed to meet again in the mandir despite Awasthi's predictions...it was in a mandir that he married her and it now in a mandir that they make a new beginning of sorts...Shivaay is literally glowing with joy as he gazes at her...isko toh saari khushi itne mein hi mil jaati hai ab😆

Good start to the week...Mondays are usually good😆...let's see how the rest of the week holds up.
