Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has called
British Airways "racist after an Indian
passenger and his family were
allegedly asked to de-board a flight in
the UK. He said his own experience
with the airline once was not pleasant.
"Racist. Don't fly British Airways. We
cannot be kicked around. Sad to hear
about the Berlin child incident. I
stopped flying British Airways after the
cabin crew were rude and had attitude
not once but twice even after being a
first class passenger. Fly Jet Airways or
Emirates. There is dignity, Rishi
tweeted on Thursday.
The incident took place on July 23,
when the family was travelling from
London to Berlin on a British Airways
flight.
Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu
has directed the aviation regulator to
obtain a detailed report from British
Airways over the incident.
The development comes after the
passenger, identified as A.P. Pathak a
Joint Secretary level officer in the
Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways, complained that he and his
family were discriminated against on
racial lines.

hahaha some sort of oxymoron statement...full on classism in his statement..subconsciously he's okay if they behave rude to a second class passenger...These folks should think before they type anything.

What an ass! He thinks only first class passengers deserve respect?! In that case, whatever British Airways did to him, he deserves it.

Well, my experience does tell me that atleast in flight, the more expensive your seat, the better the behaviour of the cabin crew. And its just not the services they provide. First/business class stewardesses are noticeably more kind and polite. I am not saying economy class crew are rude, but in many airlines I have noticed they tend to be have an air of carelessness and are less accommodating of the passengers' needs.

So keeping that in mind why would they be rude to Rishi Kapoor? Not once but twice? Maybe he did encounter racist flight attendants twice, or maybe he did something to warrant that reaction? A couple of years ago he got into a fight with a fan on Twitter and ended it by saying something like what do you expect from a Parsi. It's always hard to believe him or take him seriously.

not really on topic but many desi people are the worst in flights... there was a horror mom with 2 little kids sitting next to me on the flight to Amsterdam recently... i felt sorry for the attendants who had to fulfil her never ending demands..

i wanna know the exact deetz of the interaction ..how were the cabin crew rude or had attitude before i even take the racism accusation seriously...

I was in no way defending Rishi though.😆
Because for Chintu ji everyone in the world, apart from his humble and polite self, is rude and uncivilized.🤪
