6 reasons why we still love Veronica from Cocktail
Homi Adajania's Cocktail starring Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty was one of the biggest hits of 2012. The film not just performed extraordinarily well at the box-office but also became one of our all-time favourites. While we loved film's story and it's funky characters, it was Deepika Padukone who blew off everyone's mind with her edgy performance. DP played Veronica in the film and won accolades for her gritty portrayal of a bohemian character who refuses to bow to conventions. What made Veronica special was her fun, independent side. She believed in speaking her mind and wasn't afraid of calling a spade a spade.

Ultimate bomb and the hottest chick in town Veronica had everyone drooling on her. Seeing her hot, hot looks, we aren't surprised.

One of the strongest reasons why she came out as the real hero for most of us girls out there. Veronica showed how every woman can be bold and very much speak her mind out. She's all things independent and confident. Bravo!

I don't think you gotta even have second thoughts about it. Bff to Mira aka Diana Penty in the film, Veronica clearly gave us major best girl goals. Wouldn't we all love to have a Veronica in our lives too?
4. She was the perfect mix of sexy and desi looks
As modern as Veronica is, she's equally traditional. In the film, we could see both sides of her and can relate to both.
5. She will spoil you with all her love
Despite not knowing Mira at all, she embraces her with open arms just as she did for Gautam (Saif Ali Khan), not differentiating between love and friendship.
6. Getting bored? This one will take you for the best party in town
You can easily call her the life of any party. She knows the best of places in town and will make you land in the best happening scenes ever. Get ready to loosen up and drink guys.
