He is on 10 years Visa but he can't stay more than 6 months at a place. He has to come back. As one of the staff Kartar questioned where you will go ? He had no answer. Still he knew his ultimate destination is his Homeland/Motherland, but It is not gonna be homecoming for him.

He didn't know some one is planning to drag him back as soon he will land.Not with physical presence but it is with Mannat Ka Dhaga. Which Zoya tied loosely but it landed in his hands. He tied it with tight knots or tied his soul.Now the hold is more stronger from Zoya's end that she can pull his tightly tied soul from other side of Dhaga.
this is a beautiful cross reference to an important bonding episode

When he was lighting candles the bright sun shine was coming inside. He was about to go but snuffled out candle stopped him.Like it was giving message lit me, I am new ray of hope for you, let the sunshine fall over you and the darkness will vanish in no time.
that was such a poignant scene... to keep hope going on ,, for at times things appear fine.. but one thing can tip the balance and create chaos in life

In India it was dark when Zoya lighted the candle and promised to self that she will always protect this light. Hence even if some time in future he will have to face darkness, there will be ray of hope for him as her.

Coming to words of slogan Nobody Cares, Nobody Knows, these terms were traced like a outer circle. As outcomes of past events had encircled him. But there was one more term in straight line Never Regret piercing that circle in the middle. What ever happened, has happened so no need to regret. Symbol of rose inside circle has got a way to come out though narrow hole Never Regret made..His love is waiting, but the path to reach is too narrow. Still its high time for Home Coming.

ohhhsounds surreal.. saw sunrise., in Turkey,from hotel balcony.. had a late hours flight.. the oranges, gold.. were amazing and than the blue clear skies reflecting the blue lagoon
. As we see the sun through the clouds, the color of clouds and valley become that shade of blue which Zoya had worn. It is not orange or yellow. It was a kind of beautiful blue. What Anjana throw away from her house was dawn. A new beginning. But the impact of her actions on the entire family will be shielded by Aditya. As he knows what she is.

She is the color of sunrise, the color of hope. If you are spurning that color it is equivalent to spurning the sun itself. yes.. zoya is the guiding light for him.. as he is for him
Now coming to candle. You equated it at spiritual level. Yes it is, but for me it also symbolizes co existence, interdepedance and mutual understanding, similar metaphor is diya aur baati. The wick burns , baati too burns. Diya feels the heat, the stand on which the candle is kept also feels the heat. If oil is the love in diya aur baati, wax is the love in candle and the medium that holds it. Diya can be lighted with another wick and oil, similarly candle can light other candles. Basically it shows together a couple with love, understanding and trust bring light to everything that surrounds them. It happens through personal sacrifice and give and take. Though we see only the wick burning, the heat affects the other partner and without love or oil or wax the light cannot be sustained.
loved the comparison.. and you know that already Shruthi.. me watching DAB.. find the hard line of the MIL appalling... demeaning and cruel.. wish the lead would open her mouth.. but yes both DAB.. do burn together like the candle and the wick...
And the representation of lighting the candle was also represented in the seen and unseen realm. The wick that is seen is represented by Zoya as he lights the candle in a public place and the diya or stand who feels the heat is represented by Aditya as he was lighting it in a church. Once you see Zoya and you feel Aditya. And I am happy CVs are sticking to this theme very much.
yes Shruthi.. you outline their inner light and candle connection very well.. yes me to pleased that cvs are not throwing in romance.. on the double.. they need to let things grow between them gradually... we saw what passion led to.. distasteful to me.. That he may back out or try to distance himself from Zoya when he realises that he is falling in love with her, but the scene changes and is shown Zoya protecting the flame, which might mean that she is not going to let him back out and going to hold on to him and their relationship firmly. Then again the scene shifts to Aditya lighting the candle again might mean he may try but will not be successful to walk away. Hence, will give in to his heart's desire.
great interpretation.. waise I expect him to resist pyar vyar... it was such a farce first time.. he ended up kicked in the teeth to put it brutally.. but yes should be interesting to see when he does succumb to her sincere devotion..

Geetey in UK they played the new theme song mere dil ko.. as a duet.. respectively on their faces.. the old song.. is history for me... the new song is Adiya song
They remembered each other, Aditya looked surprised and Zoya happy. I think he was expecting to see Pooja but It was Zoya whose memory took over completely. Have you seen kuchh kuchh hota hai? At the end of the movie "Tina closes Rahul's eyes and he sees Anjali." Aditya's reaction reminded me of that. shukar hai they didn't sound off the old song... its Zoya now in her Cricket gear.. loved those FBs... aur Pooja kaun hai???😛 ab tu Zoya ke baachi.. Anjana still has hatred towards Zoya and Wasim has strong dislike towards Aditya. So the voyage is going to be a turbulent one. Whether it is Arnoor or Adiya.

Very beautiful analysis ...loved your comments ...the entire week the writing the direction n the scene picturisation was marvellous ..with a one constant factor - the amazing chemistry of Jenny n Harshad ...it seems unbelievable that adiya are stationed miles apart yet the most moving love story is seen in the making ...hats off to the cv's ... the true impact of Zoyas words was made clear here ...Aditya had become a lifeles figire during six months ...Zoya had infused in him a fresh breath of life ...due to Zoya he was able to smile ... now being soulmates both came before God ..both used the same words ...drowning in tumultuous waters n both thanked the superior power as well as having each other in their life ...Zoya had him in his dua n likewise Aditya wished the Noor of happiness in the lives of his dear ones including Zoya in his inner circle ...

that is why due to her providing him a ray of hope he had become restless in Paris then .. due to Zoyas nner happiness n contentment travelling towards his soul he could not stay put in Paris any longer and ..and next he wanted to move to another place ...to start his journey of life but before that on his free will he wanted to thank God for rekindling of new hopes n for b ringing Zoya in his life ...remember Aditya had saved Zoya after her suicide attempt n now Zoya had saved the barely existing Aditya ...a lifeless person ...to once again embrace life ...a big favour by the benevolent God n bowling before Him was natural ... . armed with his sun shine Zoya s wishes for him unknowingly he was travelled towards her though he did not say it ..and also that he was moving from Paris to undertake another safar ...He had understood that if Zoya who was earlier in deep darkness n derpair could rise up n shine ...likewise there was hope for him n so no point in staying holed up in paris ... the song was soothing to him now but surprisingly he saw Zoya s face instead of expecting sad reminder of Pooja ...that had jolted him ...Zoya had already accepted Aditya role in her life n she was happy with her memories she was blushing ...the play of colours orange red yellow was intentional ...in Paris Aditya was in greys ...in precap...in yellow ...Aditya himself would bring life n love back into Zoya life and at least he had taken steps to be with his love And Zoya ...she had already hatched up a plan to bring her sun ...

Paris,, as in the rest of Europe,, churches and chapels are fantastic artefacts of Catholisim and are landmarks of national heritage.. so it was so natural for Adi to visit a church. light candles and for their inner lights to converge !

Hammie actually I loved they used Abhi na jao. Reason the song was old, but the memory new. It showed a tectonic shift in the way Adiya has started thinking about each other.
