multiplexes and theatres to allow outside food. Huge crash at PVR stocks.

People would be allowed to carry food items along with them in cinema halls and in multiplexes in Maharashtra. State Government to formulate policy on what action is to be taken against halls/multiplexes which don't comply

i don't even ...india is such banana republic...good that i don't live in india...courts should interpret constitution as it is...not rewrite the constitution ..be a originalist

Did they even consider their cost of running multiplexes before giving such orders? Nobody has forced anyone to buy food at multiplexes. You can live without food for 3 hours.And will the security personnel be able to check food packets and water bottles or will they go undetected risking the security of people?

The ticket price will go up and not decrease.The food prices used to subsidise the ticket prices . With such populist measures the only thing it will lead to is make multiplexes a sub standard movie watching experience. Multiplexes will only cut down on services to compensate.
