I feel Sonam has an aura, she's beautiful, elegant, charming, fresh... this and many other factors led her to become the next Indian face L'Oreal selected for Cannes.

Also, if you watch some of her songs (Masakalli, Tum Tak...), you'll see she doesn't lack that X factor.

Comparing her to Shraddha is ludicrous.

Masakali the song where a fecking pigeon stole the show from her or Tum Tak where Dhanush despite being one of the most average look guy stole the whole freaking movie from everyone including Abhay Deol.

No there is nothing ludicrous about comparing her with Shraddha.
Shraddha at a time was riding high giving every youngster their highest grosser from Varun to ARK to Sid Mal to Tiger, and she still is one of the male darling, although quickly replaced by other girls.

And than she committed a mistake of thinking that she can act and than it went all South.

dont know what it is.

I guess she gives girlish (to an extent of childish) vibes instead of a full fledged grown desirable woman like deepika,,,,

I guess more then anything else, it is her INCOHERENT CHILDLIKE PERSONALITY that makes her aura though unique but at the same time many cannot take her seriously for a ladylike killertype sexually desirable raging glamorous queen or contender of number one heroine...

isn"t it? ..in a way...?

She is unique and her niche but she has not reached the masses or the status of being a filmy star like Katrina Deepika, Anushka, Vidya, Kangana, Alia and so on.

yeah thats true...

but kinda sad at the same time...

coz me and many others were rooting for her post Saawariya in which she lookedlike a proper bollywood heroine material and a true indian beauty...

unfortunately her persona was way different then those who r typical rat race hindi cinema heroines.

(also her offscreen personality and intentionally not developing a certain type of image harmed the way people perceive a typical bollywood actress...which turned out as her loss, unknowningly).
