An announcement has yet to be made regarding BFB. It was supposed to be a Fawad/Sonam movie but I don't think it'll happen.

The script had been reworked hence the fact that it didn't happen then and they did VDW instead and afterward Fawad went back to Pakistan after the Uri attacks and subsequent ADHM debacle.

So no lead has been finalised yet for Battle For Bittora and we have no inkling about who will star opposite Sonam.

Also, we only know the movie hasn't been shelved because she said she was doing it in the near future.

I don't know what TPTG is about but of it's on the line of BFB and ZF why not? Sonam can end up emboding the Anuja Chauhan heroine.

She can hardly be credited for Sanju... the whole sole credit goes to Bira, Vicky, Paresh, and Hirani
Heck even Anu had a bigger and memorable role than her
VDW shud have been a plus point for her but she was the weakest of all in the movie
Padman role was ok ok for her

Sonam has always done her own thing, and it's one of the reasons I like her. She seems to have found her space and makes movies that I as an urban woman like to watch. (Khoobsurat, Aisha, VDW and now The Zoya Factor).

Hope she doesn't lose this aspect of herself!

RCE had the rights to The Zoya Factor years ago. They didn't end up making the film so sold the rights or the rights went back to Anuja who sold them to someone else.

As for Sonam being in the "game" ...she's never been in it and never will be in it. She has always done her own thing and has managed to make a space for herself focusing on her strengths. She's probably the only acting star kid I see trying to use her privilege to try to do things about issues like pay parity.

She must be the only actress in her age group who hasn't acted opposite any of the "young stars" (like Varun, Sid, Ranveer, ARK, Tiger etc) and has still managed to stay relevant.

She and Rhea seem to be marching to their own beat successfully. Sure, they have had their dad's name and financial support too, but they have also managed to churn out profitable ventures (or atleast not incurring significant losses) . After persevering for the past 7-8 years (since Aisha) they have finally seen huge success with VDW and managed to make a mark in a particular niche (which actually isn't represented much in bollywood)

Sonam has figured out her groove - alternating between movies with her sister and others.
