Katrina Kaif is in a good space professionally. The actress' last release Tiger Zinda Hai was well received. In fact, after the film's release many felt that Katrina deserved more screen space. The actress also went on to sign to big projects. And even though many felt that it was ex-lover Salman who got Katrina Aamir Khan's Thugs Of Hindostan, the actress also got Aanand L Rai's Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in her kitty. But that was not the case just before that, the actress had delivered two back-to-back flops - Fitoor with Aditya Roy Kapur and Jagga Jasoos with her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
The actress was recently approached for a movie opposite one of her recent co-stars with whom she didn't manage to strike gold at the box office. No we're not talking about Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos, but his best friend Aditya Roy Kapur. According to a Mid-Day report, Katrina Kaif was approached for a film with Aditya, but the actress showed no interest. The duo together had rocked the Dream Tour concert. It was also suggested that the actress found Aditya's strong shoulder for support after she split with RK Jr. And even though Katrina and Aditya are good friends the actress does not want to mix personal matters with her professional decisions.
As per the tabloid's report, a source informed that Katrina was offered a romantic comedy opposite Aditya, but the actress wasn't keen. The fair feathered friend said, "Though they are good friends, Katrina doesn't want her career graph to see a low again. Ever since the success of Tiger Zinda Hai , she has been selective about the projects she takes on. Since Aditya doesn't have a great box-office record, she doesn't want to work with him.
Katrina is currently in the US with the Da-Bangg Reloaded team. The actress is one of the top performers and is joined by Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah along with a few others. After which, Katrina is expected to start work on her next film with Remo D'Souza starring Varun Dhawan. The actress starts promotion of Aamir, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Amitabh Bachchan starrer TOH, which will release on November 7. Immediately afterwards the actress will get busy with Zero promotions.
While Aditya may have to wait a little longer and earn a few hits, the actor shouldn't really feel low about Katrina's rejection. After all the lady had also turned down Baahubali star Prabhas' Saaho.
