Rules and Regulations:

NDTV Imagine Ltd. ("Company") and/or the NDTV Imagine ("Channel") telecasts a Program titled "Dharam Veer" ("Program") every Monday to Friday at 20:00:00 hours as per IST. The Companies and/or the Channel reserves the right to change the dates, the timings and days of the Program, without giving prior written intimation to the viewers.
To participate in the contest, the viewers must watch the Program and answer all the questions correctly and fill in all the details required in the contest form that shall be published in the respective newspapers and send it to the corresponding address of the Company for the contest i.e. "DV Contest", Bal Bhaskar, Dwarka Sadan, 6, Press Complex, M.P. Nagar, Bhopal 11, Madhya Pradesh.
Only viewer(s) in age group of 5 (five) to 18 (eighteen) are allowed to participate in this contest. The viewer(s) shall be required to submit the age proof as and when required by the Company. The parent(s) and/or guardian(s) approves and shall have no objection to the minor participating in the contest. Only one entry per viewer is allowed.
Employees of the Company, of the production house, which has been appointed from time to time, and also employees of the main sponsors; and members of their immediate family; persons other than Indian nationals, or Indian nationals living out of India are ineligible participate in the Contest. Failure to provide proof or affidavit of eligibility, including the correct date of birth within a reasonable time upon request by the Company may result in disqualification and/or the withholding or withdrawal of a prize. The Company also reserves the right to disqualify a winner(s) incase a discrepancy is found to exist in the information furnished/provided/stated by the viewer participating in the contest during the information submitted in the contest form and in the information(s) stated in the documents furnished by the Contestant(s).
From the correct entries received, the Company shall choose the Winners as per its policies. The winner of the first prize shall get an opportunity to meet with "Dharam" and "Veer" of the Program. Another 1000 (one thousand) winners shall receive consolation prizes in the form of some merchandises of the Program. The Company shall intimate all the winners at the address and/or the contact number(s) mentioned in the contest form submitted to the Company.
The winner of the first prize shall be allowed to be accompanied with one parent only and all the arrangements (as per Companies policy) with respect to boarding, lodging, stay, food for the 1st prize winner alongwith one parent and/or guardian to meet with "Dharam" and "Veer" of the Program shall be borne by the Company.
The consolation prizes of the 1000 (one thousand) winners shall be sent at the addresses as mentioned in the contest form sent to the Company.
If any taxes and/or levies are applicable on the prizes awarded to the winners of this contest, under the laws of India, then the same shall be borne by the winner(s).
The Company shall make the best endeavors to deliver the prizes to the winners at the addresses given by winners, however the Company does not take any responsibility for the winners not receiving the prizes or if there is any delay in the prizes reaching the winners.
In the event of any fault, misunderstanding or dispute concerning any part of the Contest or the validity of any answer the decision of the Company shall be final.
The Companies and/or the Channel reserves all rights to make amendments to the existing rules without prior notice to the viewer(s). In all cases the Companies and/or the channel shall have the sole discretion to take any decisions pertaining to the rules, winners of the contest of the Program and such decisions of the Companies or the Channel shall be final and binding on all viewers participating in the contest.
The closing date of the contest is 29th February, 2008. All entries received after the closing date shall be invalid ipso-facto.
If the operation of the broadcast of any/all of the Programs is prevented by an event of force majeure the Company may cancel all or any part of the Contest.
The winner(s) of the Contest agrees that he/she shall make himself/herself available from time to time and co-operate with the Company and participate in any activity and/or campaign ("Promotional Activity") of any nature whatsoever without any money payable to the winner(s).
Further, the winner(s) shall at no point of time refuse or disagree to participate in any such Promotional Activity for any reason whatsoever. The viewer(s) agrees that the footage of any nature with regard to the winner(s) shall vest with the Company, including but not limited to all intellectual property rights and any other rights for worldwide and in perpetuity
The winner(s) and/or the Contestant(s) of the Contest agree that he/she shall hold harmless the channel, Company, its employees, officers or any other person in connection with the prize won by him/her and/or in relation to the Program including but not limited to the procedure in the Competition and shall also not file in person/ through any family member and/or third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India against sponsor and/or the channel/Company to claim any damages or reliefs.
All viewers participating in the contest, parents and/or guardians of the viewers participating in the contest agree to abide by the Rules mentioned herein.
The courts of New Delhi have sole and exclusive jurisdiction.
