The movie won't show any of this, it mostly focuses on his drug problem and his conviction, it won't show how he treated women badly, coz this movie is all about showing him as a survivor, kar har maiden fate sums up Wat the message of the film is going to be

I hav always been confused as to why Sanjay dutt is having a movie made on him, he hasn't done anything special or impactful, and it's clear he wasn't as nice person, the film won't be a true narration of his life, it's more of a fictional comedy

This movie is like Art imitating life or however you say it. No one could have been better to play Sanjay. Good choice Hirani. Mirror image barring the terrorist part.

the reason Anushka smiled in that scene was because she was told by Jim's character Sanju would lie about this question, but Sanju gave an honest answer in front of his wife, hence she smiled.


The movie's main motto was the taking the "terrorist" tag away, other than that he was not shown as an ideal person.
A nalayak beta, a drug addict who takes drugs even when his mom is dying, a womaniser who even sleeps with his best friend's promiscuous girl friend, while his gf's father died totally stoned he goes to hospital and creates a scene, sells her mangalsutra for drugs and so on. He isn't exactly a likeable person.
