The highest first weekend collection for an outright Hindi film is Tiger Zinda Hai with 114.91 crore nett which is likely to beaten by Sanju. Bahubali - the Conclusion is the highest ever with 127.28 crore nett. The collections of Sanju have come on a non holiday weekend like Bahubali - The Conclusion. Tiger Zinda Hai was also non holiday but on Sunday it got the benefit of the next day being a huge holiday which enabled evening collections to be strong.

EVEN with this BIGGEST SINGLE DAY = 46 Cr is with Salman's TZH on SUNDAY which Sanju is well short...

SUBAH tak wait karlo... kahin kal FINAL COLLECTION 42.75 aa gaya toh TZH ka Record reh jayega kayam 😆

Sanju is set to create history with the highest first weekend of all time for an outright Hindi film. All records barring Bahubali - The Conclusion look to be smashed. The business on Sunday will come in the 43.50 crore nett region which will mean weekend of close to 116 crore nett.

The Gujarat / Saurashtra area is the key for the film in terms of lifetime business. This is a huge market and is coming on board for the film but a bit slowly. If this starts motoring over the weekdays we could be looking at a film which could become a huge historic grosser. The other key sectors (Mumbai and North) have out performed every outright Hindi film to date.
