car goes missing

A car which had a starring role in Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets has been stolen, police have confirmed. The blue Ford Anglia 7990 TD vanished from South West Film Studios in St Agnes, Cornwall, between 5.30pm on Wednesday and 4.15pm on Thursday. The car, which was in a poor state of repair, was being kept under a cover. It could not have been driven so was probably towed or taken on a truck. Harry escapes from Privet Drive in the car after Ron flies it to his rescue. "The thieves may not have known its connection with the film, and just thought it was a classic car, or it may have been a Harry Potter freak," said a police spokesman.
