Sonam Kapoor only has 17 films in 10 years, nothing to show for?

😆 I was looking at her laughable filmography today and Veere is her 17th movie. She averages 1.7 releases a year. And really only has 5 real successful films in a mediocre career. That is only a 30% success rate. How did she even get movies all these years? She will probably finish her career with only 20 movies. Are Sonam Kapoor fans really proud of a fashionista? 😉

i think she has done incredibly well for herself

sometimes it's helpful to look at history.

aamir had 26 films in his first 12 years (pre-lagaan...as that's when things changed). that's about 2.2 releases a year. that's very very low for the 90s. he had about 7-8 films that were successful...only a few blockbusters...qsqt (first film), dil and raja hindustani. overall about 30% success rate in his first 12 years (before lagaan).

considering sonam started with two flops...she has done well for herself.

i think she is in a better place than anushka right now (3 back to back flops) who was hyped to the core in 2012 with JTHJ releasing where as Sonam was brutally written off in 2012 after Players.

so sonam is doing well enough! better than many of her contemporaries like anushka and asin (who was once)

Veere and Neerja are not successful because of her. Anyway as long as she retires I am happy.

^really erotic dear? are you saying it's the topic that made them successful? well then that's how most films are successful! why did I watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan? I liked the subject and the way the film was made. Nothing to do with Salman who is a weak actor! So why he gets credit? I still dislike SRK's character in DDLJ but I like the film & Kajol. But SRK gets credit. Why kanjoosi when it comes to Sonam?

Also I am going to see Sanju because Sonam is in it. Otherwise I would not see it. I am not a Sanjay Dutt fan and neither an RK fan. I would have skipped it in theaters for sure. Even if it is a Hirani film. The subject matter do not interest me too much.

This is the greatest scene in the trailer! It's actually not funny. A drugged man is essentially insane and abusing his girl. This is a scene of abuse people. Not funny. Even though it seems funny. It's actually scary...if you were in her place you would be terrified!
