Actresses who marry outside the industry -their fate also Sonams fate?

So reading up on Karisma Kapoor, and how she is unable to get work made think about the fate actresses who marry outside the industry usually endure.

she will be safe and there... she and her sister have their own production house... she doesnt need KJO or anyone else to cast her, they can produce their own movies...

Karishma didnt have a backup like Anil and Rhea... also apart from acting, she wasnt known for much... Sonam's fashionista background will definitely keep her in news and visible in events and stuff to be ignored and forgotten...

Isnt't that their papa's house though? With Sonam moving on in life and eventually starting her own family a couple of years, same as her sis, I believe that production house will be something her useless brother will be more involved in.

Also you cant be visible when you are jet setting and shuttling between 2 or three cities, now it works cuz she is young, and newly married no kids and all. But I want to see her balance life with one or two toddlers attached. She will eventually have to settle in some city properly and if she does so in Delhi or London then byebye fame, as fame is based in Mumbai 😭

I dont think her brother will get involved with production at least for next 10 years... he will try to set his footing as a lead actor... if he fails miserably like Uday Chopra, then he might... but i think Sonam will be as involved as Rhea...

Also its difficult for these celebs to let go of the fame hence they keep coming back... so i think eventually Sonam will settle in mumbai... and if she settles here, then it will be easier to manage life and career with her kids too...

Sonam has never depended on people beyond her father and sister to keep her busy. Her equation with them will never change. So she is safe here. I think eventually she will go the Shilpa Shetty way ie get her husband involved in BW and make him a minor celebrity via production or a baby or probably both.

Anushka is fine till she pops out a munna and munni and they turn about 5 years old and media loses interest in them only to be regained when they become teenagers courted by KJo.

Deepika is more ambitious than Sonam or Anushka. I think she will follow Ash's footsteps. She will keep working till she is ready to start a family. Keep her market value up by getting invited to firangi parties. Even after that paps will be busy with her kids till they turn 5 or so and they lose interest. Now whether she will be able to survive beyond a 'comeback' after motherhood is tough to predict.

Aishwariya'a situation is different, she is the Bachchan's bahu and no actresses got so much limelight like her despite not working for 5 years, she is mostly in the news for being Bachchan bahu and going to Cannes, DP might go Kajol or Kareena's way if she get marry with Ranveer, both actresses are brand couple with their husbands that are also actors and both managed to do some good movies after marriage, Ranveer-DP would also stay relevant too by making brand couple after marriage, John and Bips would've benefited on their career too if they married because they were brand couple but unfortunately they broke up. Shilpa's husband seems so publicity hungry, heard that he left his first wife and daughter for Shilpa because he is getting so much publicity through her and he is mostly in the news for many wrong reasons, Anand seems much classier, I don't think he is much interested to become a minor celebrity, Sonam might go Madhuri or Juhi's way by judging reality shows and working on movies once in a while, so that she doesn't disappear.

Times have changed, actresses work after marriage but it's true if they have a direct link with the industry then its easier for them to continue. As for Sonam, she and her sister have a production company and her husband is into fashion buisness so she will always stay active somehow with the industry. These sisters are smart with their fashion line and production, they know they are Anil Kapoor's daughters but they are using it wisely.

Karisma's time was different when she got married and also the Raj Kapoor company isn't active anymore so i guess being a talented Raj Kapoor grand daughter doesn't help.

Sonam anyway is not a good actor, so she won't be known for her films.

But their production house is their fathers production house, he just lets them run / use it so that they can produce their girly movies and claim they are not chick flicks. 😆
