ADHM faced controversy, but the controversy was about a Pakistani actor casted in the movie, when there was tension between the two countries. The controversy was not about the content of the film, like Padmaavat. So ADHM didn't get any box office benefit from the controversy either. Plus, the movie faced a clash and was only targeted at Urban multiplexes. Fans should take a chill pill.
