I miss them too, but the show must go on... They cannot have dragged the academy days forever making it a college romance story rather than a police officer's story. But then again, they must show something like part of them team together - like Om, Manya, Gopu in one station, Roopa, Akash and Sanju in one, Rehan and Kiran in the other one etc ... and show their lives! Just a thought.
