I really liked tonight's episode, I was very pleased with the way things played out with the Khannas and Avni. Bebe and Shweta were completely justified in being disappointed in Avni, they did support her despite learning she faked her death and even accepted her leaving again upon her return but how could she keep them in the dark about Mowgli? It was a completely justified reaction and quite tame considering how this would have played out in other shows. I feel Avni lucked out with the Khannas in this instance.

So there were some fears that Neil would question Avni's character, that NEVER happened! Not once did Neil ever doubt this was his son. Neil made the connection to Mowgli just like Prakash did and now everything made sense to him as to why Avni was such a wreck the day Mowgli went missing.

The confrontation was perfect! I'm glad Avni had her say and clarified Mowgli has only known for a few days that she is his mother, that it was difficult to go through this without him. Avni continues to let it be known she was helpless but Neil cannot accept that and I don't blame him. Neil wanted to be a team with Avni, he knows they can face any storm together but she chose to go through this alone. Neil is right in feeling hurt, feeling betrayed especially since Avni terms the Khannas as her perfect family. Neil asked all the right questions to Avni and to be honest handled her a lot better than I was expecting. This was Neil Khanna for you.

So Neil did say hurtful things towards the end to Avni and he will repent but I am not going to hate on him nor will I hate on Avni. Neither Neil nor Avni are wrong in their POVs, Avni is helpless she cannot tell Neil about his father even though she sees this killing him and Neil how can he understand the love of his life when she gave him two of the biggest shocks? Things are a lot more complicated and it is just not easy to reveal the truth and move forward because that truth can prove to be damning to their entire family.

I felt for Mowgli, he was so happy the Khannas are his family and wanted to be with his father but now he is caught in the middle of a tug of war. I am now even more convinced Mowgli will be that common ground and cause cooler heads to prevail between his parents, yes their egos are clashing right now but we know AvNeil they would never want their child to suffer because of that. Neil and Avni are alike, they love with all their heart and would do right by their child.

Mitali, finally she showed she has a brain! I am glad she can see Neil is not in any frame of mind to be going through with engagement and a wedding, whatever he is saying is to spite Avni. Notice his dialogues, he said he cannot let Avni win. For Neil this is not about wanting to move on, its about wanting to hurt Avni because she hurt him. I am hoping Mitali stands by her decision and no engagement happens in the next episode, if she has one ounce of self respect she won't do it. Mitali can just say we will postpone it that way Neil continues with his ego and it will lead to a cooler head prevailing in the future. I am hoping the truth is out next week because Neil told Avni he would marry Mitali next week (we know that won't happen but whenever a date is set in NK world, something big happens) I feel we are inching closer to the reveal, fingers crossed! We don't want a rushed ending.

By the way, in addition to Mowgli and Prakash it does look like Kamini will be another factor that brings AvNeil closer because she is targeting Avni's orphanage and I saw a coming up with Mitali and kids, I feel they all connect. Kamini will land Avni in trouble and Neil will have to bail her out.

Today's episode was totally emotional for me as both the leads are suffering due to their ego and with this they are making their child also suffer. The way avni snatched Mowgli's hand from Neil today I think that was the trigger point for Neil I think that will lead him to file a custody case for his child.

But if and only if they put their ego behind they will see through it. Neil will use his brain to know what exactly happened 10 years before which forced avni to leave him in hell to mourn for her.

yes indeed the ego clash thats is happening between avni and Neil both are wrong and that dialogue of neil i had expected shwetha to say but neil said but we all knw in what state he said that

Mithali jaag gayi neend se acha hai and not al are open minded like avni to accept others kid

Kidnapping drama so kamini kapoor is in action

Guess ab toh seriously avni has to be in danger

Custody case will add drama factor and it will be interconnected with KK mom gapla too i guess i see avni giving up on mowgli so that mowgli gets happy family and he can be happy with khannas

Avni will take all neil ulta advice seriously meri zindagi bardbaad kardi dialogue so she wnt make a move so sunehri mowgli will be the one

kamini is targeting avni orphqan which again is avni lifeline she living her life fr that orphan kids so avni will be hit frm everywhere

trouble for avni means Neil will again run to protect her oth are the same no one can see the other in trouble so yes it will be major drama ahead

You explained Neil's emotions well.

Coming to avni! Yes she is always silent when someone blames. She never opens up. She has so much bottled up in her which no one knows.

What can she do other than asking apology for what she did.

Good thing is she is not trying to justify herself though she had solid reason for justification.

Poor Mowgli.

For Neil!! Good that he is knowing truth in Installments. After 10 yes he is reacting like this

I can now imagine how avni would have felt when she knew the prakash truth

imagine what will happen to him once he knows the complete truth at once that too before 10 years.

He and his family would have broke completely.

Here Neil is thinking that avni saved his family from vidhyut but the actual case is avni saved their family from that breakdown which they can't handle.

Can this family bear that they killed accidentally neela.

That too they all know who neela is and how neela was.

You wrote about Neil completely so I have nothing much to say.

For me after seeing today's episode Iwhat I found is they don't butcher avneil but their emotional state of mind is not letting g them being in their senses

this is the catch point and state of mind specially neil poor guys itna shock mila hai so he has to be back in senses and yes mithali thankfully saw that he isnt in his sense

Yes I felt bad for Neil and Mowgli when Avni did so, Mowgli is now in the middle of a tug of war and I think Bebe and Shweta seeing that will make them neutral. The last thing anyone wants is for Mowgli to suffer here. It is not fair to him.

Yes poor Avni is being hit from all sides, once again the walls are caving in for her but it will be for her own good. Avni needs to be set free from her demons and this may be it. Neil will be her savior again because he cannot see her be harmed and now its not only about her, their son is being targeted and so is Avni's lifeline with that orphanage. These two are indeed endgame and there seems to be a series of factors that will result in that ice breaker, it won't just be about sharing a child which is what many feared.

In regards to Neil's dialogues, it was hurtful and spiteful but you know exactly where he is coming from. Neil will repent in a way I felt he was already as he remembered what he told her.

I don't think this family will be able to handle knowing Prakash killed Neela, they could barely hold it together thinking Neil could have done so. It would kill Prakash from within to look at a girl he loves like his own and know he snatched something so precious from her, even more so knowing she brought so much misery upon herself, her husband and child just to safeguard this secret.

Exactly I don't see Neil nor Avni as butchered here, they are being written realistically and I feel for both. I am sure Neil will slowly put things together just like he did today. Neil is in for one more shock and it is that shock which will prove to be the game changer here. It will put everything together for Neil and that anger will turn to remorse, all those feelings of believing Avni never trusted him will become ones of he didn't understand the love of his life as well as he thought. Neil will fight like hell for Avni once he knows the truth.

Posting my POV from a different thread:

I need to write this while the emotions are still fresh within me. I don't really review episodes, but I wanted to talk about the one today!

Execution: 100% on point.

Actors: 110 % on point, especially Zain Imam. Wow, this guy can emote and his eyes are a blessing. Really, I can't stop gushing over his eyes since yesterday. He portrays emotions with his eyes and nails it every single time.

I want to make a special mention for Kabir- being so little, he really got to me today.

The only person who I felt bad for today was Mowgli.

Avni is justified in her anger- She admitted to being wrong. She told Neil that when she found out she was pregnant, she was in Kashid and couldn't come back. To which Neil countered, "I would have come get you with the entire police force, had you made one call. But you didn't."

Again, both are justified in their soch at this point. Full justice done to the scene. I loved that they had moved to their bedroom to discuss this, and there was no scene infant of the guest- something we never really see in ITV! Neil thinks she didn't believe in him to protect her and their child. A challenge to his male ego.

This is where I wanted Avni to say."it was never about you not being able to protect me..." I wish she had said those words and clued Neil in.

Avni has always been the strong silent type and sometimes I don't like that about her. People, especially Neil say things to her and she bears it all. She never says "oof". This stems from all of her childhood trauma. Yes, Avni rebelled in the past. But she never verbally confronts people.

I felt bad for Neil too. This guy has been receiving shock after shock after shock. And not little ones. These are major shocks that Avni/life keeps throwing his way.

Is Neil delusional? Yes. Shock has given way to anger. Neil as an angry person only reminds me of a volcano. No one knows when he's going to erupt. And today, he erupted. I wanted to see him erupt when he found out about Mowgli because he had a right to know about his own son.

Honestly, when he told Avni that she's a 'dhokebaz,' I really wanted to laugh because Neil, you knew she was a thief when you married her. You knew she was a flight risk. Why are you surprised? These are the things that made you fall in love with her!

Why I said Neil was delusional? He's only kidding himself when he says he hates Avni and doesn't love her anymore. Blah blah blah. This is where I liked Mitali today. Mitali was what Neil needed to hear in this moment. But, like I said Neil is a volcano. He's going to erupt somehow tomorrow and we know he's going to force himself to SHOW Avni that she doesn't affect him.

Bottom line: Anything Neil does from hereon, is to SHOW Avni. His argument why they need to go ahead with the engagement is because of Avni. Not because he loves Mitali; nor is it because his family wants him to.

Mowgli: He was the one person I felt bad for the most today. This poor child finds out he has an entire family. His joy knows no bounds; yet he wasn't able to properly reunite with them.

In the clash of egos of parents, the children suffer the most. Today was a classic example of this. This is where NK has always been exemplary. They always bring in the real issues.

Neil went to hug his son but Avni pulled him away. Wrong? Yes, but only in Mowgli's perspective in my opinion. He was the one who was so excited to meet his Superman, aka his dad. I felt bad for him there. I felt bad the entire time he cried for his Superman. I felt terrible- no child should have to go through this.

One thing that I want to add about Neil Khanna. He's human. We've all said in the past " I want my husband to be like Neil" " Get me a Neil Khanna, he's goals!" that is still true today. Not for a split second, did he doubt Avni's character. He didn't even entertain the thought that this child might not be his. Instead he thought about the evidence and concluded that Mowgli was indeed his.

This is the ACP Khanna. Yes, he's hurt and he's flawed. But, the gist of his character hasn't changed.

ADDITION/THEORY:

There's an OLV posted by Aquib is Mitali stopping a van with kids. The kids inside don't look familiar to me; I think this is a scheme that's happening in the background. I think this is where Kamini and her lawyer come in.

Kamini is trying to trap Avni in a case, and I think this case is of child trafficking. That's why the lawyer was pushing to have the kids be adopted w/o Avni's knowledge today.

I think this will all tie in to the Mowgli's attempt at kidnapping. Neil and Avni will be forced back together this way.

The only soul put through highest torment is Mowgli . No chid should go through this but I thank writers for making Avni and Neil fight inside their room . Both are right as well as wrong . Emotions are running high coz no one saw this side of Neil and no one thought he will go on with his marriage plans after this truth came out . That's why many feel he is out of character . As for Avni nothing is gonna break her to tell the truth to Neil and family . But Neil even in his anger didn't question her character or badmouth her or manhandle . That is where he stands .

Zain 👏 I salute him . He can pull through anything and everything . He could make us cry with him and feel his raw emotions just through his eyes .

We can give 1000 justifications for their actions but they are wrong in certain actions which I can never digest . Like Avni choosing to hide Mowgli from Neil n lying to Mowgli about his fatherand Neil choosing to goon with his wedding

Why is Avni being arrested by Mitali .? For running away from Mumbai .

I was hoping that today avni will burst out like Ananya verma and give right explanation but she stay mum and again with i did it to save your life, but now that vidyut is dead, there is no one in danger, she could have told him when Mowgil went missing that they have a son, but she choose to stay quite, and that really make him angry and think, she doesnt want him to meet his son. explain the reason behind lawyer and custody case.

His dialogue when he say "I can hold him , teach him to walk' was heart breaking . but again no body talk to Avni and ask her what she did in all those years. they never have time in peace to resolve their issues. My heart goes for pillu, he is becoming sandwich between Avneil

This is not about supporting Neil or Avni. This is about showing that love is not everything. Love without trust cannot survive. It's not about right or wrong! As we age in life we understand this and I am encouraged that the writers are finally trying to inject some reality into the show.

Will it hurt to play out and watch? Will either Avni or Neil make "bad" decisions? You bet!

You need a role model? Listen & learn what not to do & why the truth always sets you free. No matter how strong we are "no man/woman is an island!"

But this is what happens when trust is broken. You lash out! You sometimes rush into rebound relationships just to feel "human" again. You would do anything to stop the pain.

Oddly death was easier to handle than betrayal. Hence Neil was in pain when he thought she was dead but at least he had solace in having had her unconditional love. The thing is death is final and here he has a chance again but he needs time.

We want Avni to speak up but how can she when she's so broken and racked with guilt! Time, she needs time and the reality of life to really make her understand the cocoon she was living in has been broken and she has no where to hide.

Time. Isn't that what we all need? And, a chance to make amends for mistakes!

If you don't watch you will miss out on some of the best acting on TV right now! Just hang in there, it will all work out!
