Making a post after ages as once again the scenes brought backa memory so much so that I felt like I was going through the same days again.
Both in my hubby's and my 12th standard we went through similar phases but not with each other. I had been head over heels obsessed with a boy who had moved to UK for his further education and failed my 1st units after which I bucked up and topped the year (yeah i was that studious back then). But yes for a short while i did experiment with smoking, drinking and other vices to make myself feel better.
Similarly my hubby also fell into bad company with some new friends from college around the same age and did all that stuff - smoking, drinking, playing cards, fighting with others... in fact he was very moved when he saw the scenes yesterday and today and said it is very easy to get confused at that age.
But today he is a very different and improved person. Which is why I feel that Sameer too will get though this phase and change himself to be a more responsible and lovable person. And the good thing is that once you have already fallen in that trap you will be aware of how it can happen and will be more confident of how to avoid it in the future.
I am loving this new phase though as it is showing that Sameer with the help of his true friends and family will overcome his negatives and be a more improved person. This is a true reflection of how teenagers get into these habits at that age and how its only the best of friends and family that can pull us out of that mire.
