The Character that was Reborn Along With Anika Today

I have never ever been satisfied with Pinky's redemption and the way she just flipped and became positive. She basically changed her avatar, scraped off all the blackness in her heart and behaved like she had just been washed with holy water the moment she got to know about Anika's pregnancy. The urge to genuinely hate her suddenly grew by leaps and bound and I used to feel my blood boil when I would see her Pinky around shivay who slowly and steadily was bending towards that "let's forgive and forget face" phase.

What a fantabulous episode! 3 in a row! Waiting for one more! Make the hatrick a foursome! Mushfika, you did full justice in penning Pinky's journey! Loved every word of it!

Annika's small small pleasures while discovering some familiar objects from her childhood, wiping it removing the dust and the cover of suppressed memories were equaled or overshadowed by Pinky's redemption act.

Nikita deserves a standing ovation for today's episode and so does HS in making us fall in love with her all over again!

When Pinky was first introduced in the first episode they showed as a crass, arrogant, uneducated, cunning, clever, loud mouthed, selfish person whose only objective in life was to get Shivaay in the front runner seat for the next in line for the Oberoi kaandhaan.
Then later, her character was given some dignity and the crassness was removed slowly though all the other traits remained as such or even increased in intention.

In fact her interactions with Annika when she was planning Shitia shaadi, was very pleasant and she held Annika with great affecton more so when Annika saved Shivaay from the murder ilzaam.
Then came the forced wedding! The ugliness in Pinky reared its head once again only to go back when Omru proved Annika was threatened by her son. She did a one eighty degree and was nice to Annika though was looking for a straw to break her goodwill which was aptly given by Daksh
In the form of casting Annika in bad light. Lo, Pinky the protector was raised from the submerged hollows and she became fierce!

Then came the Lohri function where her son proved that he would give his life for this no NKK lady whom he was struggling to accept his love/care for!
That night she really lost it and removed Annika, or so she thought. Boomerang like Annika was brought back, thanks to her husband who was still unsure if she was just a zimmedari or his duniya!

Slowly Shivika's love, relationship and trust strengthened and grew and correspondingly Pinky's hatred grew! Was time again for all kinds of naatak and finally the 3 finger rule! Annika was gone!

But boomerang happened and she came back. Slowly Annika proved her goodwill and her worth was recognized by Pinky all the more now that her own raja beta was treating her as an outcast! He clearly chose his priority and that was his wife!

It was then that Pinky started changing on the inside. Even with Tanya, Pinky was looking for a way to send Annika out! Again and again, Shivika proved they are inseperable and it was time for vanvaas!
A repenting Pinky then saw Annika walking out even though no one would have blamed her for staying back, if she so wanted or as SSO wanted. But instead she opted to go out. Patri started changing tracks at a faster pace then!
Again, back in OM, she realized she has been wrong or she has all along wronged Annika and she said she does not deserve Annika's respect.

All the other siyappas and now with Annika getting her own NKKP pinky decides it is high time she worded what was in her heart! It takes guts to apologize in front of all! Even shivaay hesitated so much to say sorry! Shaayad runs in the family!
Today we went all out! When she decided enough is enough! Her guilt was weighing her down and high time she bowed down in front of her guilt!

Look at me rambling as though Pinky was a real life saas who wronged her realtime bahu! IB has made us all believe in reel land!

Today's arc was complete in its fullest sense! The way Pinky acknowledged her past crimes, fear, hatred, underhanded dealings, feelings and finally redemption! With folded hands! Satisfied us all and HS makes Pinky a much loved saas again in Telly land.
Yes, she too is reborn for the second time as a mother! In its purest form! Until CVs decide otherwise later!

Absolutely loved the Pinky-Anika scenes today.

Haye! You made a character analysis post after sooo long Mush!! And as always, it is perfect to the T. Just like your stories. Pinky character was dead to me when cvs did everything to disappoint us. I hoped so much that ab hog pinky ka redemption ab hoga but it just never happened. I was so done with Gulneet because Pinky's redemption had so much potential to make IB stronger in terms of plot and characters but they just ignored it.

LOL I ran to watch yesterday and today's episode after reading your post🤣 And I don't regret it. Fantabulous episode and a more mind blowing post by none other that Mushyyy! 🤗 Hum bhi khush ho gaye to see a complete arc of pinky's character.
