I would just like to add to the above descriptions that Prem's character was always the good person...he was a good son, brother, business man...you name it...and he never went against his parent's wishes.

However, when Prem's dad, lalit, got Prem engaged to someone else...Prem somehow fell in love with Heer...and the first time he went against his dad was when he defended Heer. The ranjha to his heer...thats pretty much the theme of the show...Prem and Heer's undying love for one another...and Harshad played Prem beautifully...he just made you fall in love with his character...and his love story with Heer too.

You should definitely watch the show. Yes...it does have some crappy ekta cliches...but Prem's character is a treat to watch.

No they aren't childhood friends. Prem's dad and Heer's dad were childhood friends and promised that they would get Prem and Heer married. But through circumstance it wasnt happening...and Heer and Prem never met each other before either. But the story is how, despite circumstances and barriers, Prem and Heer meet and fell in love...its the idea that they are soulmates who are bound to come together.

Kis desh and Tere Liye had different stories. Prem and Heer were soulmates, that's how it is shown. They weren't childhood friends or something, but since the day they were born they were destined to be together.

And Prem was such a fabulous lead character. He wasn't arrogant or dangerous like other male leads. He was this beautiful person with the best soul.

And as far as it's about Aditi, because you have seen her as vamp. Once you watch the show, you are going to fall for her and her character. As innocent as our Zoya but she was also strong, a perfect female lead.

It was one of the best shows of Ekta. Obviously there were those cliche scenes, but the show is worth a watch, at least the initial episodes.

That was her first show and she looks so beautiful. Their chemistry and scenes are out of this world. And his character is the most loveable kind of person i have ever seen in tv history, at least in the beginning. Its a love story of 2 people meant to be together and how fate brings them together against all odds.

Tere liye cannot be compared to kis desh. The stories, chemistry, characters and romance scenes are all so so so different and kis desh will win it big time over tere liye.

Aditi used to look so cute and perfect as Heer. I don't know why she started playing negative role after that. But Prem Juneja has been my crush since forever. I started watching serial after Prem supposedly died and then later on he had a daughter in the show. They had an amazing chemistry. You should watch it on Hotstar.
