And even if I agree with "Your ground level "logic,then where is Sid now?On the ground?and Varun?Right up there,competing with the ever upcoming superstars and coming fresh with a record-breaking opening Tiger,as if this one can't be broken?I am not one of those fans who'd go chant about BO figures,Be it of Salman's(not a fan anyway) or VD's(Following his graph since his 1st) but if when our favourite's film flops or does okayish business,although they have super stardom or an actor like Tiger who is just surviving on one PH may be,action and dance (which is almost like gymnastic) getting a benefit of doubt like shy he can't survive if Kat can and getting used as a example like how he is a threat or they have a list of work which shows how good of an actor they are so it doesnt matter then why on earth a Varun fan can't chant about his hits/successes, having the record intact till date and getting called out for hiding behind his success coz they have nothing prominent to say?He can dance,he has that comic timing,he looks okay if not OH so amazing of Sid's level,don't do unnecessary drama to make his films work,don't have love-life related controverses,has screen presence,choose his films according to his strength and experiment in between,risk taker,hard working,bankable,has an adorable off screen persona may be not likeTiger but Varun never really referred his co-stars as 'extra padding ' unlike our goody boy Tiger,has a consistent fan base which only grew with his each film and can ACT if not of *PUT any amazing actors name according to you* level but of his own level(trying his very best to be a better one)these many reason should be enough to get that prominent tag,right?If so,then what is wrong chanting about these facts in front of those who are only there to put him coz these are facts which probably others refused to agree with and hide behind their baseless hate.His films working coz of luck then what is Tiger's can be called?Oh he roared guess.😆Varun is not flopproof but he ain't a no body or irrelevant. You don't dis-credit others while giving one credit,That is irrelevant. And I am glad,he started his fan base from the ground level coz I guess if the base is strong enough,it may shake sometimes but never be breakable.😃PS-Those who thinks he is just survivig coz of his "Luck" well thank you,one need that too coz without it what you are called,unlucky?I hope he never be one(I just realised how good of a thing it to have luck on your side)
About SOTY Alia was so bad she made me want to puke. Varun and Sid were little better than her and between them Sid stood out for his looks atleast. Otherwise SOTY had nothing to takeaway except maybe the hit Radha song.
Beyond that I feel what matters is despite one's limitations one chooses the right films to showcase himself and stay ahead in the race because no actor is an all rounder. In this matter Varun was ahead of everyone else in his age group maybe thanks to his own smartness, his father's smartness or maybe KJo's/Sajid's/other well wishers. Tiger has now caught up and has the same advantages like Varun does. We dont know the future but then an action star can have a long and successful career.
