Judwaa 2 looked like a carbon copy of the original. Even the songs were the same. The movie was unfloppable cause all Sallu fans were gonna flock to the theater anyways. I cannot fathom why people are shocked that Judwaa 2 was a hit.😕

Oh yes...Tiger is definitely biggest threat to Varun..Varun seems unsettled too looking at the blinds and the way he is stalking other actor's profile (always one of the first to like or comment in other's SM posts)

Becoz I found it pathetic..the movie doesnot have a single good scene..the WOM for the film was horrible and yet it was a superhit.Look at his films he doesnot have a single flop to his name so crediting Salman and his fans for Judwaa's success is faulty.

Bingo! Even with just action he can manage a long and successful career. Stars like Jackie Chan who popular not just in their country but across the world are testimony to that. And what does Varun have as a USP-he is a mediocre dancer, terrible actor, zero in action. Only thing that no can beat him is the luck factor as even for well connected starkids its not easy to be picked to be mentee of KJo himself and be pushed by KJo, David Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala without much to speak for himself.

Varun became a star for me, the day he made a movie like Badlapur a hit.
Badlapur was a great movie, IMO his best till date, but movies like J2 will still be hit because it is comedy genre and blockbuster music.
While movies like Badlapur are so dark that Indian audience don't like them, most of them are disasters or flop in Indian BO, still it was a clean hit.

A factor people tend to overlook, a factor that makes an Actor a Star/Superstar.

Varun has the most powerful & engaging screen presence in this gen IMO, and no I dont think he's a terrible actor😆he has just done some terrible films. Action bhi karleta hai matlab bhar ka.

😲Rager,That was so untrue , by the way.I mean Sid being noticed more.?An an actor?Or as a looker or his 'Kukkad kamal da'(Yeah,he did have those fans back then who'd go for an actor's looks only,I hope they were not lasting after him then)coz clearly he were no where getting noticed coz of any of that mentioned above besides the fact Kjo did a lot of hard work trying to make him look the best of the world but it was Varun, despite getting the 2nd grade treatment shone,hold his own in front of actors like Ram Kapoor and walked away with the appreciation of of his 'work' in the film.

And even if I agree with "Your ground level "logic,then where is Sid now?On the ground?and Varun?Right up there,competing with the ever upcoming superstars and coming fresh with a record-breaking opening Tiger,as if this one can't be broken?

I am not one of those fans who'd go chant about BO figures,Be it of Salman's(not a fan anyway) or VD's(Following his graph since his 1st) but if when our favourite's film flops or does okayish business,although they have super stardom or an actor like Tiger who is just surviving on one PH may be,action and dance (which is almost like gymnastic) getting a benefit of doubt like shy he can't survive if Kat can and getting used as a example like how he is a threat or they have a list of work which shows how good of an actor they are so it doesnt matter then why on earth a Varun fan can't chant about his hits/successes, having the record intact till date and getting called out for hiding behind his success coz they have nothing prominent to say?

He can dance,he has that comic timing,he looks okay if not OH so amazing of Sid's level,don't do unnecessary drama to make his films work,don't have love-life related controverses,has screen presence,choose his films according to his strength and experiment in between,risk taker,hard working,bankable,has an adorable off screen persona may be not likeTiger but Varun never really referred his co-stars as 'extra padding ' unlike our goody boy Tiger,has a consistent fan base which only grew with his each film and can ACT if not of *PUT any amazing actors name according to you* level but of his own level(trying his very best to be a better one)these many reason should be enough to get that prominent tag,right?

If so,then what is wrong chanting about these facts in front of those who are only there to put him coz these are facts which probably others refused to agree with and hide behind their baseless hate.

His films working coz of luck then what is Tiger's can be called?Oh he roared guess.😆

Varun is not flopproof but he ain't a no body or irrelevant. You don't dis-credit others while giving one credit,That is irrelevant. And I am glad,he started his fan base from the ground level coz I guess if the base is strong enough,it may shake sometimes but never be breakable.😃

PS-Those who thinks he is just survivig coz of his "Luck" well thank you,one need that too coz without it what you are called,unlucky?I hope he never be one(I just realised how good of a thing it to have luck on your side)
