So this was the time before Swara was Ragini's friend i assume, and Ragini is taking certain medicines as there was no mention about any weird sightings. Met through mutual friend, got separated and then met through mutual friend once again! Very well described, i must say👏

Hi Vibha,

Yes dear.. the first part is about 6 years behind from WC timeline, the second is 10 years behind. Swara wasn't in Singapore then and had no connection with Ragini. Similarly you dont see Neha in WC.

Ragini thinks she is hallucinating and takes medications after separating from Lakshya.

Guess you are on Singapore time😉 it is still Monday now. But I do love this early update.

I have to unres for 1 too and I am not doing it in a hurry. I want to savour it, I rarely get to read a RagLak tale which has well developed character arcs for them so let me take my time

(I recall only two where both SwaSan and Raglak were equally balanced - on is Best of Things by Soapbubble and the other is your Ignorant Crossroads, though truth be told, IC is better on RagLak than SwaSan.)

I think being a SwaSan fan, we prefer to focus on them rather than RagLak. I have read Best of Things too, and loved that. I take it as a compliment that among so many works here, you liked the characterisation of RagLak in Ignorant Crossroads.

I agree that as SwaSan fans, we tend to focus on them but it irks me when writers simply make RagLak as flat single dimensional evil / senseless characters only to highlight the good in SwaSan. I would prefer a good meaty characterisation - make them evil but still...

And making them ridiculously bad is quite a turnoff - as a reader (guess I am a reader before a fan, so even though it is a fanfic, I dislike the easy way). But then when writing a fanfic, guess that is what works.

I remember starting to read one story (WP) - intro is like Sanskaar is a playboy who sleeps around (turnoff one - I am tired of this bad boy good girl,😡😡😡 since the intro did not say this, I started reading) Ragini is the college s**t (exact phrase- seriously, that is the way you introduce someone who sleeps with the ML - and what is the ML then - the college stud on hire??? a sperm donor???) and Swara is a good girl, beautiful innocent etc. etc. 🥱🥱(boring, been there, read them and discarded them) Laksh - I do not remember - one para and I am not going further. And no more ranting...promise
