okay now the other extreme reaction:

And did I tell you that you are a wonderful friend and a beautiful sweetheart. As a writer, I can understand if you left it where it was - it was lovely in its own way. But then to be honest this is better. It is like my chocolate quote "In beginning the Lord made chocolate and found that it was good, then he separated the light from the dark and found it was better.

Edited! Lakshya and Ragini are like Ying and Yang, they do balance each other perfectly. Ragini's maturity is something I love to read about and Luc's light hearted stunts are ever so charming Finally Lakshya proposed! I loved how you described the daffodils-''beginning of something new"!!!❤️

Gossips travel faster than truths, right? 😆 Probably because we don't want them to spread.

Ragini proposing.. hmm.. that would have been a treat right? But then I really wasn't thinking in those lines. I mean Ragini just broke down apologizing for pushing him away and it would have made perfect sense if she was the one to ask for the relationship.

Hi Vibha,

I am a fan of hidden meanings and symbolism. That's what made me take up writing in the first place. So the flowers are completely the obsession that I deliver through Lakshya. Even I didn't know until I searched for the Daffodil that they meant a new beginning. Hydrangeas and carnations are some of the flowers that can talk a lot to those who know about them. And I really wanted something other than Roses. They are classic but I find them a bit overused.

Well, my intention was to keep it in the middle ground. Both of them keep their emotions on the table for discussion and then come to accept that distance doth make the heart grow fonder (I am 100% sure that's not the actual quote, but you get the gist😆).

Hmmm🤓 I later felt that as it was Ragini who had walked away a decade ago, it wouldn't be good that she would propose as it would look like a shabby effort to mask her guilt. I'm glad you wrote it the way you did.

haha read it in one go. they have been sweethearts for one another I would say. met at a tender age left and then met again to continue what they left behind. I guess their time apart gave them the maturity to see things in better perspective. Young love has the tendency to disappear with time.
