Irrfan shares his first picture as he begins treatment in London

Celebrated actor Irrfan who recently got diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour and left his zillions of fans in shock and grief, is now getting a treatment for the same in London. While there were various speculations around Irrfan' health recently, the actor had confirmed the same mentioning that he has a rare disease'. Irrfan had announced his tumour in an emotional post on his official social media handle saying, "Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect. - Margaret Mitchell

The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research ;-) To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.


Since the talented actor has now started his treatment in London for the same, he shared his first picture on his social media handle. Irrfan posted his picture with a love poem to God by Rainer Maria Rilke.

It read as, "God speaks to each of us as he makes us,
then walks with us silently out of the night.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Irrfan will be next seen in Blackmail which is slated to hit the screens on April 6. Other than this, Irrfan will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's next opposite Deepika Padukone soon after he recovers.
