why does this forum considers varun & alia untalented and undeserving?

always credits nepotism for whatever success they get

Pata nahi yaar, unme kuch kamiya hai na.. jaise Varun ka height aur uska awaaz, aur Alia ka chehra... but tum aisa kyun maante ho ke forum unko pasand nahi karti.. forum pe har ek star ka koi na koi dislike karta hai. Alia aur Varun ke bhi fans hain, forum pe.

I still see some talent in Varun but Alia is extremely undeserving. I would take her seriously the day she stops acting like a 12 year old.

yeah but people dislikes them for being a star kid. product of nepotism. but they are most successful in their generation and among all their peers yet only this 2 targeted. no one said anything to ranveer who kept giving flop if it wasnt for bhansali

Okay! As for Alia, other than this forum, I think she has gotten accepted pretty well by the audiences. IDT they consider her untalented given that she changed a lot of perceptions post Highway and Udta Punjab. She's not known just for Masala entertainment.

For Varun, it's the same perception outsider this forum too. Though, people don't consider him Bad looking as the forum does. Personally,I find him quite good looking and very dedicated towards his work. Since he's done a major chunk of Masala movies so he's been typecasted as an untalented guy which he is not. What happens is, if you do any Non-Masala and artsy, intellectual films, people consider you amazing as an actor and shizz and if you don't do that, people just take for you granted. For example, Salman, he is obviously not a great actor but he is not as bad as people generally say(coming from someone who doesn't like Salman at all). Remember the trolling when Varun got Best actor in one of the awards? People lost their shit over the internet.

I digressed, you asked for a reason- It's simply coz they got a lot of things on platter owing to their influential parents and mentors but imo both of them are quite talented and are improving day by day.

That is an awful generalization.

I consider Alia to be talented, but she has not struggled for it. Scripts have been tailored or handed to her. KJO has had a hand in her success though it is her hard work and talent that has landed her where she is. But I will always think more of someone like DP or Kangana or PC more because where they are is because of their own hard work. No one handed things to them. But I respect Alia a lot too because she is hard working and does not take what is given for granted.

Varun, he is someone who is growing on me simply because he is hard working and he is taking risks. His kind of films initially did not interest me at all, but when someone who need not take a risk, does so, I respect that and the person immensely.

there like he gets credited for whatever success he isnt rightfully deserving because he hasnt had consistency to prove it and has poor track record. film didnt make money on his star power i feel. varun and alia get most heat on here. varun atleast done 9 films with 5 different producers unlike repeating with same ones

Jaise Bebaak Begum ne bola, bahar sab log Alia aur Varun ko pasand karte hai.

Mujhe personally, Varun bada pasand hai, uska aatma-vishwaas acha lagta hai, hero maal hai at the same time earthy.
