seems like a rumour, rs will be filming for 83, so i dont see how he can do this film at the end of the year

but if its true then it will not be like befikre, adi himself said he was knowingly taking a risk with befikre, and this article clearly says that this movie will a true blue adi chopra film which will be a family entertainer and the hero being the romantic hero we know and love

anyway again its just a rumour at the moment

Post Befikre, Ranveer Singh and Aditya Chopra NOT reuniting for a film. Details Inside

Just a day back, a report by senior journalist Subhash K Jha started doing the rounds of internet. In his piece, Jha suggested that the Befikre' actor-director duo of Ranveer Singh and Aditya Chopra was to set to reunite for another film under the banner of Yash Raj Films, even though their previous outing wasn't a great success. (Also Read: Ranveer Singh dedicates his first award for Khilji, to Sridevi)
"Adi and Ranveer have met and extensively discussed their next film together. It will be a contemporary theme but not a sexually-charged film like Befikre. It will be more in the tradition of Yash Raj Films. Ranveer will play a lovable family guy, whom everyone from the daadi to the didi dotes on, the report quoted a source saying.
However, looks like there's no truth to it! The spokesperson of YRF has thoroughly dismissed the news, while emphasising that Aditya is occupied for the next one year.
"Yash Raj Films would like to categorically dismiss the report suggesting Aditya Chopra is directing his next with Ranveer Singh as reported by Subhash K Jha. As of today, Aditya Chopra has not finalised anything about his next directorial. He is immersed in all his productions for at least 1 more year before he begins thinking/planning his next.
Hope this puts rumours to rest!

Lesson learned by Adi 😆 the audience prefers his trademark way of filmmaking so good that he has gone back to his forte. Befikre wasn't that terrible I felt let down by the lack of chemistry and the horrible climax. So I hope this time it's someone like DP or Anushka opposite RS then I'll be actually really excited for it.
