I feel the same either the Salman of KKHH or NK of IPK, basically I find him harmless to their story. I can see him being smitten by Avni but once he sees Avni and Neil's love for each other he will back off or may even help them in getting their happily ever after. I believe he will be cupid for them in some way.

It was initially a five year leap which is why the cast themselves were so confused by the sudden change. It had to have been SP call, its okay let it be the promo has everyone hooked so hopefully it was the right choice and fans fall in love with NK all over again
