'Porus' viewership soldiers on

MUMBAI: Sony's magnum opus Porus has been the talk of the townfirst for being the first show wherein the IP is with the creator and later for its not-so-spectacular viewership. In fact, rumour mills were abuzz that the show would struggle to shrug off its sluggish start and build on its viewership. Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) data for the show, however, paints a different picture...

I dont really know what to say. When did the articles about low viewership of the show which they are mentioning come. I have never seen articles on sluggish start porus got. Balki the week it was launched, it was the top show on channel. Its not easy for a sony show to compete with trps of colours or star plus...i dont know why but that has always been the case for this channel. This show has always been consistent on ratings. Though i doubt siddharth sir or the channel just expected this from this show, it was launched with huge expectations. Though this show has not disappointed much but unfortunately dint gave the best results as well. Through this article i came to know that vignaharta ganesh has been continously the first show on channel except the porus launch week. As trp for both shows used to be same...i always thought its porus topping the charts. Though ya ...i agreee ...porus is second most watched currently running show on sony liv after tarak mehta. And mere sai is topping the uk charts. What is happening...har jagah par second chal raha hain yeh show...just hope it grabs first position soon on trp front, on sony liv( it is first only as tarak is under sony sab) and at uk front. Hope it does better than what it is doing as of now. They are expecting an increase in viewership...so might have a good plan. Alll the best to the team...love everyone...one of the best ensembles ever.
