True! I think he must have traumatized her during Saawarya and Black. So the chances of them working together again are slim to none. Even Ranbir didn't want to work with him again.

Indeed, ROM, Vishal Bhardwaj and ALR know how to make their heroines look beautiful and etheral. I thought SLB also knew how to but Deepika has been undewheming in BM and PM in terms of looks imo.

It's not just beautiful : Sonam also looked ethereal in Sawaria but I don't like how he botches their roles : they are beautiful but completely bland !

Exactly, Sonam was great as Sakina but her role didn't leave an impression because SLB couldn't manage to give her anything to chew on. As a longing lover being held back by her grandmother he could have done so much. Even the Rani/Ranbir angle wasn't well executed. Let's not talk about the editing and decors...
