PadMan in plagiarism row, FIR filed against Akshay Kumar.

Twinkle Khanna's maiden production
venture starring Akshay Kumar, Radhika
Apte and Sonam Kapoor has received rave
reviews by critics. The film that was released
today has also seen positive reactions from
the audience in theatres.
A young writer Ripu Daman Jaiswal has
accused the makers of taking scenes in the
film from the script he had written. The
writer has filed an FIR against Akshay
Kumar. He alleges that he had sent a script
to Dharma Productions and scenes in the
film have been lifted from his story.
He had posted on his Facebook account,
"One and a half years ago, I had written and
registered a film based on the works of
Arunachalam Muruganantham and Saati
biodegradable sanitary pads. Have you
heard about them? Yup, Arunachalam
Muruganantham is the guy who had made
low cost sanitary pads for rural women. I
had registered the film on 5th of December
2016 from SCREEN WRITER ASSOCIATION and
sent to Ryan Stephan (Karan johar's
production -- Creative head) and personally
to Vikram Aditya Motwane.
And you know what happened? After ten
days on 16th of December 2016, I heard the
news that Mrs. Twinkle Khanna revealed that
her production is making a film based on
his life, starring AKSHAY KUMAR,
He further wrote, "Recently, the PADMAN
trailer released, and most of the scenes has
been taken from the summary I had sent to
MR. Ryan stephan. Yes, they even copied my
fictional scenes(Check out the
Rakshabandan scene. In real life,
Arunachalam Muruganantham has no
sister.)
I have decided to take this matter to court
and fight a battle against the producers of
the film.
Intermission of PadMan. 11 scenes
has been copied from my script uptil
now and even one of the character.
That's it. I am definitely going to
court.

I can't tell you how hard it is to see
the film I have written with so much
passion & integrity going away from
me. Every day, every moment I feel
cheated with faith. I just hope that
the cosmos give me enough strength
to survive this hard times. I am trying
real hard to survive.

How can their be a story of plagiarism when the movie is based on the producers book which is itself based on A. Muruganantham real life story?

They should counter attack. It's high time they act against these people who are seeking an opportunity to earn money in this way.

sorry to say but production houses n biggies have always plagiarised a lot of things. I personally know a few who actually did that. Most of the times these issues don't come out due to out of the court settlements .

I didn't say it never happened but it's sometime a coincidence and in this very case the movie is itself inspired from the book and a real life story...

real life story yes. But high chances of twinkle plagiarizing someone else's work as hers.. Twinkle is highly overrated.
