No, good looks do not over shadow good performance but they do help in getting attention to themselves but the nuances of expressions are noticed far less in them than in an average looking face. An average face is more likely to get approval for good skills as the attention goes towards the expressions, voice etc. Hence in terms of appreciation of acting an average to below average face has higher chances of acknowledgement but in terms of audience attention or feel good presence the good looking face has it easier.

HR pulled off tiny comic scenes in Bang Bang really well. But, I agree. That is one genre he has not explored. Though I heard he is looking to do at least one full fledged situational comedy film. I don't think he has interest in House full type comedy films.

Are you trying to say That the real Anand Kumar is ugly?

Atleast that guy is easy on eyes unlike your Greek God actor's fading ugly looks.

He is basically looking like Trash. By not looking good I meant that he is not looking suitable for the role .He is not looking the part and There are a lot of other actors in Alternative BW cinemas who can do this role better.

Let's add that Hrithik isn't a very strong actor too.

I only said Anand Kumar shud not be looking like Greek God. By assuming that the opposite is ugly, you are only contradicting ur ugly comments on Hrithik's looks. If Hrithik is trash, then whoever your fav is must be scum of the planet. Inside and out. Grapes are sour for Jealous foxes i guess.When Anand Kumar himself wanted Hrithik to play the part and is very happy, who are u to whine? Ur opinion belongs in the Trash can.It wud look easy on the eyes there. Lets add that you are not only a hater, but also a blind n dumb one at that. And as far as fading looks are concerned, if he cared about it that much, he wud not hv done Non Glam roles. He has been doing such roles right after his first film. He is the Most Versatile and Complete Star and Actor in Bollywood. And if he isnt a strong actor, whoever ur favorite is even worse. Trashy opinions of Couple of inferiority complexed fools like you cannot stop a Diamond from shining. Keep burning in envy.

Aish can't act to save her life but she's beautiful though so her beauty overlooks her lack of acting.

I do think Hrithik is good looking and he's good looks overshadows he's acting sometimes

Good looks can never cover up for the lack of acting skills nor can they overshadow!

Aishwarya, Sonam, Deepika(she is improving in leaps and bounds though), Salman are a few of the top actors who simply put me off,the moment they start 'acting'...

But it can run the other way round too...like if a person is not visually appealing people overlook his or her performance ...I believe end mein performance stars n beauty fades...
