Amazon MX Player has dropped the official trailer of Psycho Saiyaan, and this one refuses to play safe. What looks like a poetic, small town love story at first slowly reveals a far more disturbing undercurrent where romance turns into control and devotion starts to feel dangerous.
Led by Ravi Kishan, Tejasswi Prakash and Anud Singh Dhaka, the romance thriller also features Srishti Shrivastava, Surbhi Chandna, Vaarun Bhagat, Ashwini Kalsekar and Yashpal Sharma in key roles. The series will stream for free on Amazon MX Player from 25 February.
A Love Story That Does Not Feel Safe
The trailer introduces Kartik, played by Anud Singh Dhaka, as a shayari loving young man from Ujjain who believes in intense, destiny driven love. When he meets Charu, portrayed by Tejasswi Prakash, he is convinced she is the one meant to complete his world.
For Kartik, love is not casual or fleeting. It is epic and absolute. But as the story unfolds, that intensity begins to shift into something far more unsettling. His need to stay close to Charu becomes overpowering. He follows her across cities, confronts anyone who questions him and refuses to accept boundaries.
What he calls passion slowly starts to resemble obsession. The trailer smartly blurs the line between romantic persistence and emotional suffocation, making viewers question when exactly affection crosses into control.
Tejasswi Prakash’s OTT Debut With A Layered Role
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMj_8U1BTqE&t=5sPsycho Saiyaan marks Tejasswi Prakash’s acting debut in the OTT space, and her character appears to be more complex than it initially seems. Charu begins as someone grounded in trust and comfort, but her reality keeps shifting as Kartik’s behaviour grows more extreme.
The narrative hints at her growing awareness that something is not right. Fear and doubt creep into what once looked like a fairytale romance. As the stakes rise, Charu is forced to reassess the man she thought she knew.
The trailer positions her not as a passive participant but as someone who must confront difficult truths. That internal conflict seems central to the emotional weight of the series.
Ravi Kishan Adds Power And Unpredictability
Ravi Kishan’s presence in Psycho Saiyaan introduces a different layer of tension. His character appears to operate from a position of influence and authority, shifting the balance of power in every scene he occupies.
The glimpses shown in the trailer suggest a man who understands control and is comfortable using it. His performance brings gravity to the narrative, especially as the story expands beyond just Kartik and Charu’s relationship into a larger web of power, manipulation and consequence.
The supporting cast, including Srishti Shrivastava, Surbhi Chandna, Vaarun Bhagat, Ashwini Kalsekar and Yashpal Sharma, further builds the world of the show, which moves between Ujjain, Katni and even Georgia. The changing locations add scale while keeping the emotional tension tightly wound.
Romance, Crime And Psychological Conflict
While Psycho Saiyaan begins with familiar elements of Bollywood style romance, the trailer makes it clear that this is not a traditional love story. There are hints of rising criminal influence, emotional mind games and fractured loyalties.
The central question that lingers is simple yet unsettling. At what point does love stop being love?
Kartik’s unwavering belief that his actions stem from passion rather than obsession makes his character particularly intriguing. He does not see himself as a villain. In his world, love justifies everything. That mindset is where the psychological conflict sharpens.
As the trailer builds toward its final moments, the tone grows darker. Confrontations intensify, relationships strain and the atmosphere becomes volatile. The storytelling appears to focus not just on dramatic twists but on the emotional fallout of unchecked feelings.
With its blend of romance and psychological tension, Psycho Saiyaan seems positioned as a series that explores the fragile boundary between devotion and dominance. It taps into familiar themes of love and longing but filters them through a more unsettling lens.
The show premieres on 25 February and will be available to stream for free on Amazon MX Player.
