Tribute to Neela Maa

With Neela's character coming to an end it seems only fitting to have a tribute thread for this beautifully written character. Neela changed the way step mothers are viewed, she had a heart of gold and raised Avni as her own. Neela was more than just a mother to Avni she was a friend, a mentor, her guide and her shield. Neela was not only a pillar for Avni but became a huge part of Neil's life as well, she was a second mother to him and looked out for him the same way she used to for Avni. Neela was fierce, loving and one of the driving forces behind what makes NK so unique. I feel this is the reason CVs chose her to be killed off because of the impact she will leave behind on the characters and fans, we just would not have felt the same way had it been any other character. I have said it before and will say it again Neela's character will come to an end but she will not be forgotten, she is going to live on in Avni and in fans. We will always feel Neela's spirit in the show. Post your favorite scenes of Neela, this is one of mine:

Somewhere I do wish to see her back. I don't know how but I do. She is too precious. Avneil story is incomplete without her.

Digressing a bit...we are once again getting into the negativity. I had hoped the makers would give a few more happy episodes before introducing the next twist.

Due to travel, I am anyways having a hard time watching episodes but didn't bother watching the latest episode for the same reason. it's more upsetting than the MS, sindoor fiasco and Avni in jail. I seriously wish the makers do a story shift now...Pandits and their negativity is too much to take. As much as I love Manini and Karam as actors, I feel we are starting to move in never ending circles.
