*UNRES*
Blame it on the episode or on DoMik chemistry as ShivAnya, i can't get this song out of my head now! On loop since last night

Having said that, I'm really impressed as well as thoroughly happy with the song selection. Good Job CVs

they really could not have chosen a better song than Madno from the movie Lamhaa (hint- Bipasha, Kunal & Sanjay Dutt based on Kashmir)
(PS- i really couldn't post the pics from the twitter acct, terribly sorry for that)
anyways, back to my point-
didnt want to sound stupid and all so i actually tried to find the meaning of the lyrics and OH MY GOD!
This song does not only fit the said situation when Shanny finally understood WHO Shiv was, WHAT did he MEAN to her, WHAT did SHE MEAN to him, but also, its indirectly an ode to their love-story. They loved, they fought, but unfortunately, they lost too.
Madno/Mashuko/Dilbaro= Beloved or more intense- Saajnaa.
WHICH IS TRUE for ShiVanya.
Sharanya is Shiv's Dilbaro, Shiv is Sharanya's Saajan.
Need more proof?
Shanny is unable to love Vyom and understand his deewangi for her. she is unable to connect with the memories he has fed her, she is unable to trust him, even though he repeatedly kept on shouting, expressing his "love" for this girl...heck, he even committed suicide for her love! But did she REALLY like him? No. Does she have any feelings for him?NO!
But with Shiv, the MINUTE she sees his body, dead and covered with the cold ice, she remembers the love-filled moments they had, she remembers the promises they made to each other, she remembers saying and TRULY MEANING the words- "Iss janam , agle janam, agle ke agle janam aur uske bhi agle janam, mein sirf tumhari hun. Meri har saans, meri har dhadkan sirf tumhari hain SHIV! Meri har khushi, har chahat, har dua sirf tumhari hain!"
we know that she said those things to Vyom too *during the "supposed marriage" thing*, but is she fulfilling any promise she gave him?
NO.
If you look at the lyrics of the song too, they fit ShivAnya WAY MORE than Shanny-Vyom.
Hai dil ko teri aarzu,
par main tujhe na paa sakoon,
My heart so longs for you,
but know, I'll never have you,
hai dil ko teri justuju,
par main tujhe naa paa sakun,
my heart strives to have you,
but know, i'll never have you..
Meelith doshvay juda
Beh chus lab che dua,
Meelith doshvay juda...
I am the night and you are morning,
being together too we are apart,
i am lips, you are prayer,
being together too we are apart...
Shiv is dead. There's no coming back from that. Yet both can see each other, feel each other's presence, hear each other's voice, but they can't be with each other. Even if they wanted to be. Such a cruel and haunting twist of Fate that two star-crossed lovers are separated in such a manner.
This is the price they have to pay for their cursed true love...😭😭😭
just my 2 cents about the scene... feel free to add or criticise
leaving you guys with haunting yet soulful song- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPQgD4swas8
