Movies Rejected By kajol

With an amazing Bollywood career reigning for almost a decade, Kajol is one of the actresses who has given some of the biggest hits of all time. Her flawless acting and meaningful roles in movies like Dushman, DDLJ, KKHH, and K3G made her one of the most loved and popular actresses. These movies wouldn't have been complete without the actress but then there are movies which the actress refused and they turned out to be biggest hits of all times. Here is the list of seven super hit movies which Kajol rejected.

1. Dil To Pagal Hai

The time when this movie came out, Shah Rukh and Kajol were ruling the box-office for their sizzling on-screen chemistry. Kajol was offered the role of 'Nisha' in the movie but she turned it down which was later played by Karishma Kapoor.

2. Veer Zaara

Veer Zara is one of the best romantic movies Bollywood had ever produced. The movie was a big hit and ruled millions of hearts. Kajol was offered to play Preity Zinta's role in the movie which she refused.

3. Mohabbatein

This romantic flick was the highest grossing film of the year. The chemistry between Shah Rukh and Aishwarya was loved by the audience. But Kajol rejected the movie and the role later went to Aishwarya.

4. Dil Se

Another Bollywood blockbuster that was turned down by Kajol. The actress said 'NO' to Mani Ratnam's masterpiece and the main lead role went to Manisha Koirala.

5. 3 Idiots

Now, who would say no to work in a movie with an incredible script, amazing cast, and ace filmmakers? Well, Kajol did and her loss turned out to be Kareena's gain.

6. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

Kajol was offered the role of 'Naina' in the movie but due to her busy schedule, she refused to take it up. The role later went to Rani Mukerji. Kajol, however, made a cameo appearance in the movie.

7. Chalte Chalte

When this movie was initially offered to Rani Mukerji, she turned it down because the role was too similar to her role in the movie Saathiya. After Rani, the role was offered to Kajol who too refused it as she was too busy to take out time for this film.

If Kajol would have accepted these movies, there would have been lot more named in her bag of success!
