REVIEW : PORUS WEEK 5
Hey guys I'm back with this week's review. So this week was pretty much decent, with all episodes focused on Puru's return to Pauravrashtra.
The Good :
Rati Pandey. SHE NAILED IT. It is extremely difficult to portray a half-mad character , and the only actress who did it was Jeniffer Winget in Beyhadh. If Jeniffer Winget is #1, Rati Pandey is definitely#1a. Also her expression in Friday's episode upon hearing Bamni's name were spot on.
Laksh was, as usual fantastic in acting.
The way the makers portrayed Macedonian games in Friday's episode was good.
The Bad :
Makers totally ignored Macedonian storyline. Agreed that this weeks episodes were to be focused on Puru's return to Pauravrashtra, but only one paltry scene of Macedonia??
Makers also need to give few more shades to Kanishk.
Also, it seems that they are showcasing Laachi to be too dumb. I mean, that riddle was really easy. Puru is one who acts on impulse, so he needs a wife who can compensate for the impulses through her thinking, and not be dumb like Laachi. But loved their chemistry.
Another thing guys. TRP has dropped to 0.8 this week, a decrease of 0.2. We need to watch more on TV than online ( at least India watchers can do that ). I know it is difficult, when your family want's to watch TMKOC, Piya Albela, Udaan, etc but please try.
Next week will get more interesting, with Darius's entry, Bamni's challenge, a competition between Alexander and Arrihideus , between Olympia and Philinna.
