@misaki I understand ur point...drawback of this track is glorification of Suwarna's sacrifice be it by Kaira or later on by Manish...poor execution...poor writing...no remorse by Suwarna...all these factors complemented each other to form the worst track...I wouldn't mind seeing flashback scenes with scenario like child Karthik feeling neglected...Manish and entire Goenka family's attention being entirely shifted towards Suwarna as she was expecting...Karthik already having misconception that Swarnish's extra marital affair caused his mother's death...them being happy in their own small world and Karthik being alone...these kind of flashback scenes...were needed...though they can't justify Suwarna's actions...but still...it would have given some insight to viewers regarding situation that time...child's psyche is very sensitive it leaves lifetime impact and scars...Karthik already lived with the pain of losing his mother...with the grief that his mother gave up her life and committed suicide...whereas on other hand...Shubham lived without mother's love...without education...without luxuries...his life wasn't also easy...I can't expect him to forgive Suwarna or to understand her greatly unfair sacrifice better say selfishness...but I do expect him to stop self-sympathizing and try to show Goenkas that he is worth being acknowledged infront of other people...I want transformation in his character...in his dressing...maybe they can send him somewhere to get higher education...without saying "they did this" or now I will show them by my negative approach...he should be like now I will show them that I'm better without them...without their surname, money ...without their attention...now regarding Kaira being on Suwarna's side...once I heard dialogue from Naira it was like "maa apne galat kiya" but that was overpowered by the monologue "tyag" over and over again...Kaira in their attempt to tone down Shubam's reaction towards Suwarna...have neglected what he must be going through completely...they consider her their mother only...without understanding the fact that she is Shubham's biological mother too ...he has every right to be angry at her...if they were proven wrong in misunderstanding their parents that doesn't mean Shubam is also completely wrong...not letting Shubam misbehave with Suwarna or to create chaos isn't wrong move by Kaira...but they should have strictly acknowledged, considered or declared Suwarna's sacrifice wrong...that could've been a better approach...emphasis shouldn't be on "tyag" but on how "wrong" and "unfair" the tyag was...I think now CVs will show Suwarna's brother being the main villain in this situation...he might be spending money on his own expenses which Suwarna use to send for Shubam...depriving him of essential necessities like education...

@bold you are right kaira have misunderstood their parents, they know that feeling you get when you think your parents have done wrong with you. At the same time this isn't the entire truth, the other part of the story is that they had been proved wrong and were / are guilty for their faults.

Think about Cinderella, imagine hearing the story the first time, you will be unhappy listening to the hardships the girl face but at the end content she got her happily ever after. When we think about any fairytale we think about happiness even though in the beginning there are problems that is because the end of the story is happy.

Similar in kaira's case the story which they considered about their parents having hurt them turned out to have a twisted end with them realizing that had been seeing things the wrong way, so the strongest emotion of theirs is the regret. That is why when Shubham behaves the way he does Karthik stops him as he sees his own image and then feels that regret he is going through.

Hope to see you more often in the forum.😊

Hey Janvi!🤗🤗 Happy to be back! 😃
@Bold - Of course I understand why Kartik wants to stop Shubham and why he goes against him especially when he sees him treat Swarna the way he does. How can I not, when I know what he has gone through. I don't have any problem with Kartik or Naira reprimanding or taking him to task for what he is doing right now.

The point I was trying to make is - They should be talking to Swarna instead and making her understand that she is the only one who is in the wrong in this particular situation. No matter what the situation was, a mother should never abandon her own child. I see people defending her saying she didn't abandon him, she entrusted his upbringing to her brother. You've got to be kidding me! Look at the way he was brought up and look at the way Kartik has been brought up. Do you not see the glaring difference? The guy is not even educated the way he would have been if he was a Goenka Son. He would have had the same opportunities that Kartik has right now. He has every right to be angry at the his mom, the Goenkas and Kaira. The woman never checked up on her own son. Her skewed logic that she would be doing injustice to Kartik by asking a father of a child to share his love between the both is so messed up that she needs to see a shrink just for that. Honestly, before I go off topic again, all I am saying is Kaira are the last people I expected to be by her side in this whole ordeal. Even now, she has the audacity to look at her son in the eye and not be guilty about what she did. That is seriously not something I expected the YRKKH team to convey to the audience. The skit justifying her so called "tyag" was the last nail in the coffin for me.

@ Bold - Exactly! Firstly, it was a 'bali' not 'tyag'. Call a spade, a spade. Secondly, they should quit harping on and on about how wrong Shubham is and instead concentrate on how to get him closer to the family. Asking him to stay away if he's not happy about a celebration is not the way to go!👎🏼 All they are doing now is antagonize him over everything he does. Not gonna help anyone. They really are instead making the whole situation worse by staying on Swarna's side.

Yess it was a "bali" and not a "tyag" and bali ka bakra is still receiving the backlash with Suwarna being nearly unaffected by what her so called tyag has turned her own son into...Suwarna is still the most unreasonable, unrealistic and highly pathetic character...I didn't even like the idea of her "celebrating" ur son hates u and u are in mood to celebrate ur anniversary...
