Tiger Zinda Hai is looking set to deliver for the industry as it managed to get around 5% growth on its second day from a very strong start. The mass areas showed limited drops which enabled the film to hold strongly on its second day. There could have been drops of 20-25% considering how the film started in these areas but it more towards the 10% mark. The bigger city multiplexes managed to improve well on day two as there was good potential for growth there. the film has grossed 35.25 crore nett on day two for a total of 69.25 crore nett apprx. The film now has two holidays in Sunday and Monday to rack up the numbers. The film will grow further on Sunday and it could be 10% or even 20% or even more. Then there will be the holiday for Christmas on Monday which should help but single screens do not perform on the Christmas holiday like they do on a Eid or Diwali holiday. This will affect Tiger Zinda Hai more than a Dangal, PK or Bajirao Mastani as it has a higher ratio of business coming from single screens than those films. Tiger Zinda Hai is a HIT for sure and remains to be seen how much higher this status goes over the next week or two.
